<p>OP - You are obviously exceptional in math, but many students at the Ivies are strong in math and the humanities. Your scores show you should at least be able to take some AP english/social studies classes. </p>
<p>I would apply to some safeties FAST. I’m not saying you have no chance at your reaches - you certainly do - but if I were you I would be very worried. You don’t want your talent to go to waste. So don’t shrug off “less selective schools” like the ones I mentioned.</p>
<p>You mental illness may count against you at some schools. You will be seen as a risk, esp with Virginia Tech killings (and the new one), and other events like that. All the more reason to apply to schools that will want you no matter what (b/c of your scores).</p>
<p>Your profile says you’ve already been accepted to CalTech and University of Washington, two great schools…so if that’s true, any schools you get into now will just give you a broader selection. Why’d you even make this thread? How can your list be risky if you’ve already been accepted to two really good schools? You pesky thing…</p>

<p>Many schools have rolling admission. As risky it may be applying to a in state school now, or rolling admission… leaving your list at that is even riskyer.</p>

<p>I would say your list is pretty risky…and I’m saying this without knowing your stats. Even people with perfect GPAs, perfect SATs, and astounding extracurriculars get rejected from these schools. I wouldn’t necessarily consider columbia and caltech any less selective than those other schools you listed. Needless to say, you have a chance; everybody does if they decide to apply. I think it would be better for you to apply to some good “safeties” and/or financial safeties just in case. Be prepared for the worst case senario. Some good schools whose deadlines haven’t passed are Emory (Feb. 1st) and University of Michigan (Rolling, but I’m not sure if there’s a specific deadline).</p>

<p>Seriously…you don’t see how your qualifications are a little bit hard to believe.
Perfect 800s on 5 subject tests and on 2 sections of the SAT reasoning. A 36 on the SAT. not to mention, all your awards and whatnot on top of sports, volunteering. It is just really hard to believe that someone is really that perfect.

do you have any free time what so ever with all your ECs on top of being a perfect student.
What was thing you published? Maybe if people on here saw something solid they would believe you more. It is hard to just take someone’s word when they are claiming to be perfect in almost everything</p>
<p>oh, don’t look at the list of colleges in my stats profile…i didn’t know how it worked so i just put in a few random schools. I haven’t actually gotten in anywhere yet (or rejected).</p>
<p>I do know people who have gotten 36, 2400 and 800s on every sat2 so you’re no different. this is certainly believable they also have really risky college lists like the one you have. you may not be fauked, since ur stats are very impressive, best of luck!</p>
