Apparently this year I think it is at mine. Especially with the underclassmen (and in my grade)…since we have many 16+ clubs in our area (can party, but can’t drink). Plus, on facebook I used to get tons of group invites/msgs about parties and I’d see people getting tagged in photos while they were partying there…which is kind of annoying to see on my newsfeed since many of them are literally half naked or they look very slutty looking (some wear bikini tops or lady gaga type of bottoms)…but it’s much worse during halloween LOL.

It’s also gotten to the point where I’m starting to have flyers posted on or in my locker with a woman ripping her shirt off…i was like, okay…***…(got one today).

Then I have people in class thinking they’re so cool for going to them haha.

I have a feeling that clubbing is pretty much just just for 18-year-old kids of millionaires, and kids from the projects. Which one describes the people at your school?

I know what you’re talking about… I don’t think that ‘clubbing’ is the right term. It’s just a place where a ton of high schoolers get together in the dark and grind to some dj’s music.

There’s one place in particular. Club Abyss is really under-21 friendly, so a lot of people from my area go. I’ve been there more than a few times with friends.

It’s not really that bad, but still. I can get over the risque clothing and guido takeovers (which happen a lot during teen night), but it makes no sense if you can’t even drink. I mean, what are you going to do, dance the night away, catch a girl’s eye, then flirt over a Coke with the bass and lights and half your town in the background? Ha.

But when the place isn’t packed, it can be alright. One of my friends actually had her sweet sixteen there, and it was really nice. The DJs are usually pretty good as well.

There are better places to spend your summer Friday nights though. The beach is nice with the stars out. There are great steakhouses everywhere. Chuck E Cheese’s is open until 11pm.

there’s the rock club “white rabit” mostly because a few bands from school will get a gig there. kids just kinda go downtown or at others houses or whatever

I just went to comedy club the other day (I think friday? last day of school? or saturday) and I was bought a drink, craziest deal but at least it was just a beer. People are kinda poor and clubs are expensive so it’s not a lot that people go to them. I plan to go to some this summer, just because I’m 18 really.

Yeah there’s a teen night club in the town I live in and everyone thinks they’re like really cool when they go. And really it’s just kind a bunch of pathetic kids trying to seem older and more experienced than they are.

Clubbing with alcohol - yup, alot of them (summers are especially good for this)
House parties with alcohol - yeah, but not as frequent as clubs
Bars - yeah

But its probably cuz were i live there isn’t much control over the age thing, unless you are like 13 and trying to buy alcohol at a store or a 15 yr guy (not an issue for girls) trying to get into a club.

No. My school is entrenched in suburbia, so our only nightclubs are people’s houses and that one club at the Radisson that’s just a skanky mess. There are tons of house parties.

In my school, clubbing is gaining popularity. I live in an middle upper class area and, from what I know, 2 new teen-friendly clubs have been opened in this area in the last year. Clubbing isn’t quite as popular as house parties.

Some guy does a DJ Dance Party thing and all the black kids go there and get “jiggy wit it” and some white kids, well a lot of kids, but it’s mostly a grinding fest with sweaty people.
