"The counselling process for JEE Main 2018 in still underway yet the news about NTA (National Testing Agency) to take over management of JEE Main and other CBSE entrance exams is already making headway. NTA will be an autonomous premier testing organization. The primary reason behind NTA taking over most of the CBSE managed exams is the huge work load and maintenance issues that CBSE has been handling for so long.
Some major reshuffling expected after NTA taking over are:
JEE Main will be conducted twice in an year.
Exam will be completely organized online.
The number of centres is going to be increased significantly."
JEE Main 2019 will be conducted in two attempts in January and April 2019. The exam dates are – 6th to 20th January and 6th to 20th April. With two attempts, candidates can save a year and improve their performance for the second attempt. The final result/merit list will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ best score among the two attempts.
