I’m a senior taking Global Marketing as an elective. It’s a total joke of a class, and nothing marketing related is taught. It’s an easy A, but I have a feeling it will just be a waste of my time. It’s possible I could switch out and become a teacher’s assistant for a history class. I love history, and since I’m taking government this year, I really miss the subject. I’m interested in studying both business and history in college. Would being a TA look worse on applications than being in Global Marketing?
Being a TA would be great! It would should you really like history and are able to be patient and help people.
I think that being a TA would be an excellent choice, especially if you are TAing for history and love history. I am a TA and I enjoy it so much! Its a great opportunity that you should definitely take!
