Is "The Voice" Your New Vice?

so far favorite has been dia and blake duet… hoping her original is great…she has become my favorite… but waiting to see beverly…what a character…cant help smiling when she sings.

Well, I’m not a Bev fan, and I think Bev and Christina just blew Dia/Blake out of the room for the duet.

Already bought Dia’s single, what chills… There is so much talent in this final four.

Yep, Bev and Christina were awesome. Loved Dia’s song. Javier better watch his back.

Argh. Man in the Mirror is not meant to be a duet. That was pretty bad.

have to add, i’ve always liked maroon five and adam… but have always been a non-fan of country…however blake shelton as a person seems really genuine and has impressed me… i may just have to download something LOL

I love country and Blake Shelton. Several months ago he co-hosted the Today Show with Hoda Kotb and was HEE-larious. Just enough bad-boy and sharp as a tack. I’m glad to see him getting a wider audience.

Best quote of the night from Cee Lo: “For all you youngsters out there, go do your homework and find out who Pat Benatar is.” LMAO

Agreed-best quote of the night.

Thoroughly enjoyed tonight’s show (with the exception of the opening number). What fun!!! They were all fabulous.

And Cee Lo reminded me of one of the bad guys from Power Rangers. He is so awesome … what a great entertainer. My coworker said he did a Patti LaBelle tribute on the BET awards the other night that was absolutely hilarious.

well i have no idea who will win now!! i give the duet to bev…but original ???

yds… give me a clue as to best download for blake…

I can’t help from root for Bev. I liked her original song - found myself singing the hook after. Dia is adorable but I just can’t love that slightly off key Taylor Swiftish type of singing. I liked her duet better. Loved the Celo/Vicci duet. Not many can pull off Benatar and she did. Her speaking voice concerns me though - worried about damage.

CANT STAND the bald woman (lesbian) or “vicci.” the african-american guy has a great voice, but the clear best is blake shelton’s trainee (dia). her “inventing shadows” song was great and her voice is perfect!

I was extremely upset when Adam chose Casey over Jeff. I almost boycott the show after seeing that, because I think Casey has a kind of nasaly, clogged up sound, while Jeff’s was just great. I also was upset when Ceelo chose Nakia, and by many other points in the show. If I had to say who I wanted to win, I would have to say the African-American male, who’s name slips me right now.

Yeah, Vicci and Beverly are both lesbians, but what does that have to do with anything? They are both grade A performers that deserve to be here.

I think sexual orientation shouldn’t really matter as much when it comes to choosing a winner. The only thing I’m scared of, is that if they don’t get chosen, there’ll be a large uprising in the GLBT community about them not getting picked just because of their sexual orientation.

I just used the word “lesbian” to identify the woman (similar to the way I used “African-American” to identify Javier). Please don’t twist my words to make it sound like I had ulterior motives.

As a gay male, I have no problem with them not winning. Just them getting this far (along with Nakia) while being openly gay shows that change is coming to America. I had no intention of twisting anybody’s words. I was just pointing out that gay/lesbian people do not want their main identifying factor to be their orientation. Do you want to be known first and foremost as the “straight” one? Sorry if I was too upfront about it

I loved all the duets and solos tonight. I think each performer went out and did their absolute best. The one who hit my heart twice was Javier … I think his voice just really sounds beautiful and clean and I love his whole range. I’m also glad that a few of the judges also commented on his good character. To me, it also comes out in his genuine singing and stage presence. I do think that Vicci’s duet was super strong as a performance, and Bev’s duet with Christina showed a new side of her, while Dia continued to do her thing. In the end, regardless of who wins, I will seek out Javier’s next album or iTune release as his voice belongs on my car stereo.

Another vote for Javier. He has an incredible voive.
