The Voice should run one season where we never see the performers until the final vote is cast.
Maybe run an abbreviated season in the summer or winter. Just 12 artists. After the final vote, before the vote is revealed, The Voice can run a 2 hour show where we can see the visuals of the season.
Maybe this is too much like radio but I like the old radio shows.

I think Sawyer would still be the leader but Sarah, Rob and the 50 year old guy would do better. Meghan might do better too. I can’t vote for a twentysomething that looks like a fortysomething.
NPR can do the non visual The Voice show and the final can be simulcast on PBS.
I admit that the way Meghan looks almost as old as I do is putting me off, also, and I try not to put too much stock into looks. I don’t remember Rob, is he the black guy who always does falsetto? If so, I think he’d be gone by now.
The one thing we all seem to agree on is that Sawyer will be the winner. His coach is also very popular, which will help.
As much as I like Joshua’s musical style and voice, did anyone else feel that he seemed somewhat strained last night? I wonder if some of these singers are overusing their voices. It sound like Josh was a bit raspier than he was when he first performed- and not intentionally.

Wait. Isn’t Corey still on Blake’s team? I was making a list for the final 5, not just last night’s performers. I think Blake will have some pull with the country voters.
Yes, Corey is on Blake’s team. He could get a lot of votes just for being young and cute. 
All of us so far have Sawyer at no. 1, several of us have Mia Z. at no. 2. Both Joshua and Deanna are on many of your lists. I think those of you who have Deanna on your lists are making a good prediction. She seems to be rising, while India seems to have leveled off. Kimberly seems to have overtaken India slightly with the voters this past week. It will be interesting to see both her and Deanna’s iTunes downloads next week. I think there is room for some “surprises” moving forward with this very talented group of artists. Will Sawyer ever have an off-night? The kid seems to perform with unwavering consistency week to week and his iTunes downloads look like they will continue to be strong. Sawyer seems to be to The Voice what Clark Beckham is to American Idol-- the ones to beat on their respective shows. The main difference is Sawyer has a lot more competition than does Clark.

I could see Kimberly doing well.
Megan needs to update her look and India needs to loosen up. Over trained singers tend to not connect.
Oh, I can’t stand Deana, she has that goat like voice I don’t like and her nerves seem to be doing her in.
It would be nice if India could sing something with a beat for a change. They don’t call it R&B for nothing.
Well, we all have our favorites, but making predictions is tough. This show has been weird in terms of the coaches’ decisions. Just look at who is left and was a “saved” player. The way that the best performers were let go and a weaker one picked remains puzzling.
Anyhow, the future is hard to tell because the song choices will play a role as well as the favoritism of the callers and downloaders will play a major role. Will the show still have the asinine system of instant saves based on the East Coast only? Coaches can throw anyone under the bus by picking a song that is not pleasing to the ears of the teens who vote. Blake can rally the CW voters with abandon and push someone on his team. Just think last season when Adam was riding high and crowing all week. He probably was checking the iTunes every hour and then … killed the chances of his entire team by … being true to his self-indulgent and self-obsessed self who loves falsettos.
The biggest dilemma now will be for Pharrell as he decides to play the Sawyer card. Does it stay in the kid’s wheelhouse or does he try to extend the limited range. The first might become boring (same for Joshua) but the second strategy exposes the limited vocal ability of Sawyer. A hard call.
I think the more pleasing sounds so far have come from Sawyer and Joshua. The most annoying from Team Christina. Blake has phone it in thus far and messed up his choices and saves.
Do you think it’s possible that Blake is letting someone else win this season, on purpose? He has won so many in
the last few seasons that I wonder if the producers want to mix it up and give someone else a chance.
I think if the producers wanted a different coach to win, they would replace Blake with a new coach, not force him to tank the competition.
I am gunning for Sawyer all the way. Don’t want to jinx it though. Americans are so fickle and can have a short attention span.

I had never thought of this – when people text their instant save choices – its only east coast??? (and maybe midwest?) i feel so naive!
I felt the best response in my head and heart from Sawyer and India, for two very different reasons. I think they are both amazing artists at much different stages in their careers. India has already gone through college and all the challenges that come with that, including dealing with all the experts that tried to influence her talent. Sawyer is a baby … I think we all love his innocence now, but I need to see more from him outside of the John Denver mold.
I do like Deanna, but am not sure she is emotionally strong enough to go all the way. Mia is very impressive, and she has an advantage because of her family’s experience in music. Corey is getting this far because he is cute; he can sing but if he wasn’t so cute we would pick on his voice more. Meagan is my sentimental favorite, and I agree she does look older than she might be. I think she just needs a decent health coach after she gets thus exposure to make it bigger on her own if she doesn’t win. My husband says she has jowls but I thought she looks like a doll face.
