I forget the characters name, he came from the reality show and was a larger black guy whose back story was he was a cross dresser.
And I still think Kurt and Blain did a great version of baby it’s cold outside on the Christmas show.

Anyone else think Morgan was as ear piercing as I did? Yikes.
I’m thinking part of why the songs sound off is that they aren’t mixing it correctly. I could hear a little flutter in Morgan’s song, I don’t know how to describe it.
I confess I am hot a fan of any country voices. So was hard to listen to at several levels.
Evan did a nice job with Stevie Wonder’s song.
I thought so, too. I thought Gwen’s comments were a little harsh. Much better than Morgan’s performance.
Why do they keep saying that someone should make it through to “the lives”? I thought that was what this is.

Not impressed with most performers tonight .
I thought Emily Ann had her best performance so far. I had not been a fan of hers before. And Superman really outdid himself! He definitely has the IT factor. I couldn’t take my eyes off of him. lol I also like Barrett.
While Evan was singing, I turned to my D and said I thought he was a little theatrical and then Gwen said the same thing. I felt his movements were a little too obviously choreographed, but he has a great voice and should go through to the next round.
I voted for Evan (10), Madi (10), Mark (8), Darius (5), and Barrett (10).
Last week, Madi took on Joni Mitchell. This week, Christine McVie. Those are some hard acts to follow, but wonderful songs. What next?
I just love Barrett. He’s such a good singer, he’s a great stage presence, and IMHO he’s gorgeous. I think that he and Amy Vachal are both fully-formed artists who just need the exposure of the show to go forward.
I thought that most of the other performers sounded pretty bad tonight. I do not get the appeal of Zach. He’s just weird. I love the hymn Emily Anne sang–I love hymns in general, and that one is so pretty–but she’s just okay. (I kept thinking about Iris Dement.) I was really disappointed in both of the singers that were brought back, both of whom were better in the battles, I think.

@Consolation, you and I have very different taste in men! I could be your wing(wo)man, though. 
I thought Evan was a lot of fun and the show needs that. Barrett is definitely performance ready. The music he sings is just not appealing to me. I tend to gravitate towards the edgier performers so singers like Barrett don’t really appeal to me, but I think he will do well.
I have very broad musical tastes. 
Generally, on The Voice I tend to favor indie artists and soul singers, but I do like country also. IRL, my choir just sang the Libera Me from Faure’s Requiem, and I’m strongly in favor of “classical” music, but I adore the Great American Songbook; ie, Kern, Gershwin, Porter, Rodgers and Hart/Hammerstein, et al. I love show tunes. I love Motown, I love hard rock, I love folk rock.
About the only genre of music I really don’t like is rap.
Not impressed with Darius and the weird looking hair is going to lose him some votes.
