It was just a matter of time for Korin, but that wasn’t a pretty way to go. Braiden’s comment about questioning whether it was worth the gas money to go to the auditions was precious.
Do you like the questions they ask the contestants? Do their answers sway your opinions?
I wasn’t able to hear the questions, so I’m not able to answer toledo’s questions above.
Even though it was just a matter of time before Korin was gone, it was gut-wrenching to see that. Once she initially forgot the lyrics she blanked out and then couldn’t seem to find her place in the song. The save vote was 51% to 49%, in favor of Braiden, so forgetting the lyrics probably sent her home. Ironically, I thought the song suited her range perfectly. In retrospect, I wish she had just stopped and started over.
Braiden has not had a top-100 iTunes ranking yet this season. Clearly, he was the one who should have gone home this week.
I’ve never been a big fan of Barrett but I felt badly for him tonight. It just was not a good performance. I couldn’t understand one word he sang for the first half of the performance. And why do the judges still gush all over the contestant when it isn’t good?
I am here in PST too, but I’m getting ready to go into work, so I’ll miss it. I think people who don’t want spoilers know enough to not read this. I’m happy with any info I can get, since it’ll be a long time till I get to watch.
Zach was so much better tonight without any goofy dancing or overperforming. Came off much more straight forward and sincere. He should just stick to doing what he did tonight.
