OK, so I missed the beginning of the show. Did they comment on Christina’s hands? Are they dipped in black wax or something? Is that “a thing” now that I’m just not aware of?
I just out shalya on my team, she replaced Katie.
I’m not sure about Cristina’s hands. It looks like little half gloves or something. Very strange.
I was glad to see Daniel back and I thought he did great. Shalya was good, but she talked too much afterward for my liking. I was thinking “just shut up and smile.” lol
Cristina needs to run a brush through her hair tonight too. I thought she looked so pretty last night, I don’t know what she was thinking tonight.
I think Adam made a mistake bringing Nate Butler back. Did not care for his rendition of a great song.
I really like Owen, too. I think he will definitely go through to next week.
Shalya… Hard to imagine a 15-year-old with pipes like that! Between the name Shalya and the spelling of Alisan, I’m keeping my override option of auto-correct busy.
I love Owen, Katy’s song did work.

No one has mentioned Caroline tonight, another one of my faves who isn’t on my team. How’d she do singing All I Want?
Caroline did well but I really don’t know if she’ll make it or not. I think Owen and Shalyah are the top two on Adam’s team. Not sure who his third one will be.
I find Caroline fine. No complaints just a bit bland for my tastes.
Thanks musicmom. I believe votes determine top-2 for each team and then coach selects the third. I heard her on the Internet but it wasn’t synced correctly so it was hard to watch. Similar to Emily Ann Roberts from last season, she looks great and is impeccably styled.
I liked Hannah but thought her song choice was kind of strange and I don’t think she’ll fare as well on iTunes as she did last week.
I listened to Shalyah twice. The first time, without head phones, the backup sounded like they were drowning her out a bit. The second time, with headphones, she absolutely sounded incredible. What a performance. Misspoke earlier, she’s 16!

i just rewatched the episode, since I realized I missed a few people last night.
Very happy that Daniel was brought back and thought he did really well.
Still love Laith and Emily. Emily is my #1.
The song Hannah sang was beyond the capabilities of her voice, IMHO. She shredded at the edges. She still has a great voice, but she was pushed too far. Lacy’s performance of the Pat Benetar song was better, but Hannah may have the potential to be more interesting if she lets go of the belting.
I’ve decided to dump Ryan and add Shalyah to my team. She won me over totally with Broken Wing, and cemented it tonight. I loved the way she spoke to the crowd: I think she’s just a natural performer.
I also really like Brian and Nate. Moushumi is someone I really like to listen to.
For me, after listening to them all again, the problem is that almost everyone on Adams team is tremendous and deserves to stay, while Pharrell only has a couple of standouts.
If I were absolutely forced to pick 3 from each, I’d take Shalyah, Owen, and Laith from Adam’s team and Emily, Daniel, and Moushumi from Pharrell’s. But it is a painful choice.

The only 2 things that surprised me were that “America” saved Laith–I thought Adam would have to do it–and that Blake saved Paxton.
