I lost one team member, Caroline. I just thought the audience would like her cute little self. I was surprised America saved Laith, I think Adam was surprised by that. The shame is some teams were better…Adam and Christina so some went home that were better than some who stayed.
I pick Shalya for the win now.
Laith’s my favorite. He definitely doesn’t have the image but I think he has the most vocal chops.
I just watched Tuesday night’s show. Luckily, my team is still intact. I didn’t end up replacing Mary Sarah with Laith, but did replace Emily with Shalyah. I thought Emily played it too safely.

I am taking a huge leap of faith with Mary Sarah. I thought she was just awful on Monday night. I am keeping her because she hasn’t peaked yet and I think she has a bigger upside than does Laith who may have delivered his best performances already. The show was also lacking a female country pedigree and she fills that spot.
@jshain Our teams are the same except I have Emily instead of Mary Sarah. I adore Emily and Mary Sarah annoys the hell out of me. B-)
I really think that the talent this season was incredible. Many amazing singers went home tonight.

I was glad to see two of the artists that were brought back go on to the next round, although I don’t really love Nick. I do like Daniel a lot and think his best performance is still yet to come.
I was also surprised that the audience vote picked Laith. I thought for sure the most votes would go to Shalyah and Owen, leaving Adam to choose between Caroline and Laith. In that scenario, I thought he would choose Caroline because she is a lot younger and cuter than Laith. LOL. I do like Laith’s voice, though.
I don’t get the love for Emily. I thought that was horrendous, and yet all of the judges were standing. Must sound different in the studio.

Yes, I thought it must be my ears, but everyone has sounded off except Adam who just sang. I guess I’m cranky but I’m really tired of the guys singing soprano, too. Adam is my favorite so far tonight.

I think it was a bad song choice for him. Not in his wheelhouse. He did better last week.

It was Bryan on Christina’s team. I didn’t notice forgotten lyrics, but I wasn’t really paying attention. He sounded flat though.
I guess no one forgot them, because the judges usually reference it. Bryan kept repeating “kiss from a rose” instead of doing another verse so I thought he forgot the words.
