I also loved the sister duo. I also liked the 36 year old songwriter who had quit singing while raising her son. I thought it was interesting that she picked Blake thinking he could help her maximize her potential. I felt a little sorry for Natasha Burre. I felt like they had passed on better singers, but someone had put a bug in the coaches ear to pick her because of the PR of having “DJ Tanner’s” daughter. I kind of doubt she will make it past the next round unless she gets the nerves under control.

I think the last blind on Monday was a cut above what is normally one of the weaker weeks overall. Main reason why might be that all the coaches had either 2 or 3 spots remaining to fill their teams. I’m very curious to see some of the coaches’ picks not featured yet, Belle Jewel (Team Alicia) being one, but there were others as well.

I just watched it, and again there were a number of people I thought were very good, notably Blaine and Courtney. I liked the Indie girl from Nashville, whose name I can’t remember.
As of now, my team consists of Courtney, Dave, Darby, Billy, and Nolan, although I would really like to add Blaine. At this point it’s hard to figure out how some of the earlier picks would stack up. I switched a couple of them out already, but who knows.

I removed Sa’Rayah, my only Miley artist. The one I’m watching from her team is Khaliya.
I had Sa’Rayah and We at one point, as well as Sundance. I only have 58,000 points. I wonder if that is because I only connected with FB today?
I removed Sundance also. Adam and Alicia seem to have the strongest teams, don’t they? I haven’t connected to FB yet, Consolation. I filled up a team right after the week 1 Blinds. Did you do the same?

Yesterday I went to the trouble of checking the auditions of my earlier picks. Still happy with Dave and Billy. 
My team is Billy, Riley, We, Josh and the sisters. I will probably change my mind once I review Tuesday’s show, but that is my gut right now.
I used to have Josh and We. I also like Riley: I love The Way You Look Tonight. This season there are a bunch of people I like a lot but no one I am devoted to, like Amy Vachal.

I just started watching and the one I’m seeing now is not a fair fight. Too much screaming for my tastes but one of them screams better than the other.

I just heard the battles on NBC.com. Probably a good way to watch this battle round segment, unless you want to see the guest coach mentoring. From what I could see on the condensed version of the NBC website, Miley stole Lauren. I saw one other steal of Courtnie, but it didn’t show which coach got her. Guess I’ll see in the morning.
Except for a couple of the performances, I thought the song choices overall were subpar. The top performance on iTunes early on is Christian and Jason’s “Hello”.
Anyone following the behind-the-scenes Adam and Miley feud in the news? I guess all the joking on-air about Miley talking too much is starting to wear thin with Adam. Cannot help but wonder if Miley was a man would it still be an issue? I’m sure the media is over-hyping it, but rumors are flying that a) she might leave mid-season or b) Adam leaves to spend more time with newborn Dusty Rose. So much for contractual agreements if one of them leaves mid-season.
I just watched the battles. I thought that the right choices were made, including those of my two former team members, Sundance and We. (Honestly, given some notes I heard, I think We should be considering training for opera.) Sundance needs to get out from under that hat, which is way too low and completely blocks his eyes and most of his face. He also needed to either put the guitar down, or learn to move around when playing it. His voice is great, but it’s as if it is emanating from a partially obscured statue. IIRC Billy is great.
I enjoyed Courtnie’s lively stage presence, but that growling she did during the first part was just horrible. Neither Christian nor Jason does much for me, ultimately.
I haven’t heard anything about feuding with Miley. How stupid. Her enthusiasm and personality is bringing a lot to the show. And yeah, I think the idea that she talks too much is sexist BS.
I watched the whole show this morning on Hulu (since I’m without cable and satellite) and really enjoyed the guest mentors. Might have been the best part of the show. Still laughing at Puth’s recommendation to We that she sing a part like she’s been drinking, only to find out that she’s only 17! The other snippet that tickled my funny bone was Blake telling guest mentor Midler that she will be well received by his “kids” and out comes Blake’s 57 and 38-year-old pairing!
