I have Taylor also. I thought that being the lone country artist this season would keep him around. I had Jesse right from the start but after Taylor did so well on iTunes during his Blind audition with a Cher song I took a gamble and replaced Jesse with him. Not sure who I replace Taylor with at the moment. Want to watch the show before deciding.
I had Jesse at the start also, but replaced him at some point. Now I regret it. I still love his singing. His look, not so much. I was also very impressed with Lilli. I’m tempted to dump Casi, who I really have only because I think she might win, and replace her with one of those two.
Adam’s final steal was inexplicable to me.
I still have the same team, and all except Chris are from 29-30 days ago. I have 506,000 points
Chris
Felicia
Lilli
Anatalia
Autumn
I thought Lilli was great.
I think Adam had no choice because he had one steal left.
Hunter and Jack, Dancing On My Own, was at #14 on iTunes an hour ago. Lauryn and Lilli, Every Little Bit Hurts, currently at #185. I enjoy the Battle Round more each season as they seem to be getting more collaborative and less combative.
I am missing not having Cable or Satellite TV when the show airs “live” because I cannot utilize the Voice App to its fullest potential. With Cable, for example, you can see what percentage of the viewers playing along are voting for each artist. You also see what percent would save a particular artist-- all while watching the show. You can get more dialed in. I happened to be staring at my Voice App during the Autumn and Vanessa battle. Even though I wasn’t able to see the battle, I did see where Alicia picked Vanessa and, perhaps more importantly, where America picked Autumn.
Here is my current team, with only Autumn and Casi from the start:
Autumn
Casi
Chris
Jesse
Troy
506,500 pts.,
All the coaches are represented. I added Jesse back on. I, like Adam mentioned last night, do see the Sundance comparison. Wasn’t going to be happy leaving him out. Wish I had room for Lauren Duski. Still like both the Johnny rockers, Hanna, Hunter, Jack, Quizz, and Lilli. If Anatalia wasn’t so young, I would say she gets on my nerves.
It really annoys me when they skip battles, thus depriving us of an additional opportunity to hear the singers, when we haven’t heard them since their audition.
Yes, watching live with the app, I can see who America picked before the coach picks the battle winner. It does make it more interesting to watch.
@Consolation I agree. Last night, we saw, what, 3? battles in an hour? Too much extraneous ‘stuff’ and not enough singing, in my opinion.
There is a girl from Texas who used to sing backup for Carrie Underwood. She has been on the local news, but I don’t remember her name. They skipped her in both the blinds and battle round.
ETA: Just looked her up and her name is Andrea Thomas. She is on Team Blake.
Just a reminder, tonight on The Voice begins the Knockout Rounds. Each coach gets one more steal.
SPOILER********
the 13 yr old was saved by a steal.
Some of these stories are very compelling. THe guy (Chris) that won that round was great.
So,far, I’ve agreed with all the coaches choices.
Until now.
Lost two of my team members so far…
I have a tough time appreciating the voices of country musicians because I dont like country music
I liked Lily
Hunter Plake was at #145 on iTunes with an hour to go before the show even aired out here on the West Coast
Yikes, just saw my gal Autumn singing Respect. Hated it…
I am not a huge Stevie Wonder fan (there, I said it), and I liked Chris’ version of that song way better than the original. I lost Felicia and replaced her with Chris.
I liked Lilli tonight. Might put her on my team if I lose anyone else.
I like watching Lilli perform but is too theatrical for my taste. I do think Adam ended up with 2 solid females, however. Heard Chris’ teaser performance on iTunes and loved it. The guy is a vocal gymnast.
Kudos to those of you who had Hunter and/or Hanna early on. Hunter is really a true artist and Hanna has incredible vocal ability and poise for being so young.
