Woohoo! I picked the winner! 71 days ago. I now have 1,659,500. I think I should have gotten a bigger bonus…
Probably helped me having that 1 extra person (Jesse) in the top-4, besides Chris. My final total was 1,798,500.
I had the winner for 51 days and ended up with 1,135,000 points.
I really think Chris NEEDED the win more than Lauren did. I think we will be hearing a lot more from her.
I gather Chris won? He was my sole remaining team member. I had jesse early on, and then dropped him in favor of someone I didn’t like as much but though was more likely to win. Should have stuck with my man.

Musicmerit, you had Chris the longest, beating me by a day! I had him for 70 days, so you had the winner the longest. I think we West Coasters get penalized due to not being able to watch the show until later or, in my case since I don’t have cable or satellite, not being able to watch the show until the next day.
I had Chris for 71 days.
I can’t believe Aaliyah placed ahead of Jesse. So much for the Twitter/iTunes crowd and their total lack of taste!

As some of you know, Alicia was the only coach who had a spot left on her team when she turned during the blind auditions for Chris on the final night. The producers must have known that he was special during his pre-show or qualifying audition but how could they be certain that Alicia or another coach would save their last and final spot for him? As each coach filled up their final spots, do they go to Alicia and give her a “heads-up” before he comes out? Do they say to all the coaches, be on the lookout for a special talent we are holding back on the final night of the blinds? It seems to me like he came close to not even being on the show.
You are right jshain. Something seems fishy there … also. I wondered if coaches know they have to turn their chairs for a certain number of candidates each show? If they held off until the last two weeks, do the other teams fill up and that last coach automatically gets the remaining contestants? Or does the coach know there are only a limited number of contestants so if they want a full team they have to turn their chairs early and often?
Glad that Chris won, but super glad that Alicia won. She is incredible, plus she didn’t have to wear sleazy clothes to get us to hear what she has to say.
I hope Blake helps Lauren out. She remains my #1
