Just heard the Knockout battle between Ashland and Chloe. Wow… I think Chloe may have taken this one.
IF Chloe wins it and IF Blake steals Ashland, with his 1 steal allocated for the Knockouts, then I revert back to my month-old hunch that this show is more scripted to create added drama than I ever previously thought possible. Blake would then have his much needed additional (imo) female country artist.

Not watching out West yet, but saw the pairings. Surprised that Jennifer paired Devon and Shi’Ann. Thought both were 2 of her strongest artists? I have Devon. Maybe not for long…

Eric has a beautiful, smooth voice but he didn’t make me feel anything.

I lost Karli tonight. I thought she’d go far in the competition. There is no doubt that Janice has a great voice, but something about her exhausts me, just too overbearing. I just noticed she’s not on any of our teams.
I don’t even remember Chloe from the blinds or the battle rounds.
Went back and watched Chloe’s blind audition. I don’t remember the song or her outfit, but I do remember some of the judges’ comments. I must have been distracted by something during her performance. Anyway, I liked her and I thought she won that knockout.
i really liked chloe!!! it was beautiful. Everytime i hear that song i get emo, and her rendition was beautiful. Not sure i’ll download it cuz i dont like to listen to it too often though!
but no idea why miley didnt chose her, and assumed she’d be stolen. i feel she is worthy of going far.
Chloe was phenomenal. She could win the show with that performance. However, I wonder, can she do that with other songs, or was it just this one? I’m glad she’ll get another chance with Blake.
Chloe was America’s choice versus Ashland: 61% were either absolutely or kind of surprised by Miley’s decision. Chloe is moving up the iTunes chart fast! Could be in the top-10 by tomorrow and for sure in the top-20. She is Blake’s most interesting artist, imo. I have had Ashland on my team from night 1 and I think Miley wants to get Godmother Dolly involved in working with her in the live shows. We shall see. I am adding Chloe on Team Blake to replace Adam C. Who was my only member on Blake’s team.
I am surprised that Karli went home this early, especially after Miley let Addison go in the Battle Round, and even more surprised that no one stole her. Disappointed that we will not see her perform on the piano, unless she gets a coach’s comeback, which may or may not happen this season.
Esera got the perfect song while Adam C. got a terrible song, imo. Team Adam got 2 solid steals in Addison and Adam C. Esera was really good tonight but I didn’t love his Blind and he was in a Montage in the Battle Round, so I don’t really know what he’s got. Blake seems to be enamored of the fact that he’s a former pro football player.
Jennifer does not appear to be a popular coach with most of you OR with America. During the double steal of Chloe, America said they would pick Blake over Jennifer-- 87% to 13%! This unpopularity may unfairly penalize some of her artists with the voters. Time will tell…

bus, Glad you caught the show tonight! Good point. Chloe may have a limited song list. Cannot do Stevie every week. I think she will be a standout on Blake’s team. The combo of her talent, along with a “so-so” team, plus his huge popularity with the voters, should allow her to be successful.
Will post the iTunes rankings in the morning. Right now Chloe and Addison are the standouts. My wife, who doesn’t give a rip about the Voice or any other reality show singing or otherwise, liked Addison the best when she listened to just the performances.

During her Blind, only 61% of those playing along on the app said they would turn for her. That is a fairly mediocre percentage. Even those coaches that turned, turned later in her audition.Then, during her Battle Round, she was in a montage. Being on Miley’s team originally, with a team packed with female powerhouses, also didn’t help make her stand out.
Love and respect Janice’s vocal ability but, for me, just hard to watch her perform.
Shi-Ann is not currently in the iTunes top-200, even though she had a solid performance. I think she still makes it through the Playoffs into the Live Shows. I think she should sing a Christian song or two moving forward, similar to what Aalayah did in a previous season, to go far in the competition. I thought Davon would have done better on iTunes with his Christian song, since Christian songs have historically gotten good downloads. This might be the “Jennifer effect”… of having her as their coach.

I had Chloe, in my top 8, but then replaced her with either Shi’Ann or Addison when I moved them up from the bottom 4. I think I had previously moved Chloe up when I lost someone else. There are so many to keep track of!
As a frequent listener to Christian music, I think “I Can Only Imagine” is overdone. That could possibly explain why it was not as popular. I am not sure how many versions of that song people would want to pay to download.
I was happy not to lose anyone last night. I had Karli on my team at some point. I would much rather listen to her than Janice.
