I know the results… have at it!
I am not concerned that Tyke is gone. His vibe was not appealing to me and apparently lots of other voters agreed.
Seeing SandyRedd eliminated reminds me of Janice Freeman. I wish Sandy had selected songs that were softer, more melodic, and that didn’t spend so much time in her lower register. She put too much emphasis “down there”, IMO. She only got 10% of the Instant Save vote— quite low.
I liked SandyRedd but agree that she needed a softer song at the end. Also, a less strident performance .
what did she sing?
Believer.
I think that comeback girl is awful. She was the obvious weakest in the group number and her pitch is just all over the place. I can’t believe people are voting for her. On a positive note, she looks good.
musicmerit, Sorry you lost Tyke (and you as well, Consolation). He lost to Lynnea 48% to 41%. It was close.
Also, congrats on moving up hundreds of spots— without tweeting. I always wondered how those high point players got all their points. Besides milking the day counts (which you are a master of), it really is all about the participation and, most importantly, the tweeting. Since we share the same 2 artists I think I may have finally dethroned you, at least for this season, with the almighty tweet.
My 2 favorites are not on my team. They are Kirk and Chevel. I would not be surprised if they finished 1-2, or vice versa. Great season for Country.
I lost Tyke also. I haven’t even checked my points but I’m sure it’s not good since I don’t tweet and I haven’t remembered to even open the app during the week lately. I have Kennedy and Dave left. No longer feel like Kennedy is the front runner, but not sure who is. Dave has not had his best showings lately. They are pretty evenly matched this year.
Dave’s song choices have not been that great, 2 weeks in a row. I am really surprised with his decisions of late.
I should just concede now. Still in the 600s though just barely with 1,935,500. Sarah Grace and Kennedy may keep me at a good ranking for a little longer. It is hard to predict who will rise to the top.
2,205,500
I had SandyRedd on my team early on, but I dropped her because I knew that despite her superior singing skills, she would never win.
I have 1,304,000 points. No tweeting or voting.
I voted to save SandyRedd. One of the 10% who did.
1,749,500. I will concede to jshain. Just can’t compete with the tweeter!

I wish Kennedy would sing something other than power ballads.
Consolation, agree! Once again, it’s like Kennedy is singing at a pageant. Overall, the song choices are not grabbing me, with a few exceptions. For instance, Kymberli is singing another Christian song only THIS WEEK I think she NAILED the song choice! I will be shocked if she doesn’t trend well on iTunes with this performance.
I think both Kymberli AND MaKenzie will be on the iTunes Top-200 charts, or much higher, this week. Also love Chevel’s song. She could be replacing Kirk at the top this week. Sarah was also very good. Sarah is gutsy, singing the same song AI champ Maddie Poppe sang during her Blind Audition when no one turned for her.
I’m also thinking Kennedy may not be the shoe in I thought. Her theater background may hurt her along with her power ballad song choices.
Looking forward to a few of those song choices tonight.
