Agree about Kelly’s outfit! What the heck was that?

I’m a huge Katie fan! I love her singing, song choices, and attitude. I hope she wins. And I just bought her latest song, thanks to the link above. 
I’m torn between making a comment about Jane Jetson’s dress or wondering why Kelly was wearing the Flying Nun’s headpiece as a collar. 
It was interesting to see Gwen dressed in a more subdued outfit than Kelly.
If the iTunes rankings battle this week between Katie and Marybeth is any indication of the remainder of this season, we are in for some excitement. There has been a handful of lead changes between these two!
Besides both of them, I really love Jake Hoot. He is so versatile!
I was disappointed with Rose’s song choice. Her breakthrough performance is still coming (assuming she survives this week).
And tonight… she looks like she fell into my late grandmother’s basket of sewing scraps.
I missed the first half but saw the “save” performances, although I couldn’t hear them that well because I was at my son’s house and he has better hearing than I. Which means the TV wasn’t blaring like at my house. LOL. I didn’t even notice what anyone was wearing. My mom, the fashion police, has always said Kelly should fire her stylist for putting her in all the loud prints and belts. My mom hates belts. “They cut you in half,” she says.
Only one going home. I think the bottom three will be Joana, Hello Sunday, and Shane Q.
For me, I did not care for Myracle’s performance and would add her to musicmom’s list. She did absolutely nothing with that song. I think Team Gwen is in trouble this week.
I thought the fans kind of ‘fanned’ with a lot of the song choices. I thought the show tonight was very mediocre. Rose Short is my favorite artist. Unfortunately, she really is not getting much traction on iTunes.

Agree with @jshain , song choices were strictly mediocre. I thought Marybeth did well and of course, Jake Hoot was great too. Hello Sunday, oh goodness, if they stay after that performance it is only because more young people vote than anyone else. It was hurting my ears…
I love Jake Hoot. I think he will be in the top three. He has the voice, the looks, the stage presence, and (dare I say) sex appeal to make it in the country music business.
Jake Hoot:
Probably my favorite Country artist that has ever been on the show— male or female. Still wondering why Blake did not turn for him in the Blinds? Makes me wonder if the Blinds are ‘scripted’? For me, the best one-chair turn artist that has ever competed. (I don’t consider Chris Blue a legitimate one-chair turn, Alicia was the only coach left with a spot on her team and the very last artist taken, which reinforces my belief in a scripted Blind.) Another example of just how hard it is to make it in the music biz considering Jake’s age and his talent…
Somewhat surprised Jake is not doing even better on the iTunes Top-200 rankings, being the ‘only ‘Country’ artist, or at least better than Katie is doing.
Carson said Jake was the most-streamed contestant last night. I wonder if he meant on the app or the web site since it does not appear it was iTunes.
musicmom, It is the most Streams on Apple Music during the voting window. This is the second week in a row he has earned that distinction, which entitles him to earn 5 times the number of Streams in votes. The Top-200 iTunes ranking can be a little bit misleading. Katie is ranked higher there but is not beating Jake in the number of Apple Music Streams. I hope skieurope can explain it better than I can…

I like Jake, Katie and Ricky. I can’t believe that Kat is still there. It was painful watching her sing this week.
alwaysamom, I completely agree about Kat. She goes flat every time she has to extend a note for very long. If she weren’t on Blake’s team she would probably be watching the Lives from her living room. She definitely chose the right coach, that could take her the furthest, and that might be into the finals.
Never have been a Kat fan, and I completely agree that she is only there because she’s on Blake’s team.
With the Apple Music stream wins, I’m thinking Jake could win it all.
