I watch most of the shows, but don’t enter the competition. This time, I actually downloaded the app for the first time when Rose needed a save. I really think she belonged in the final 4.
I was very surprised Ricky came in 2d.
Is Jake the first one chair turn who has won?
jonri, Yes and no. A few years ago a guy named Chris Blue was technically a 1-chair turn. NBC touts him as their FIRST 1-chair winner. However, the ONLY coach who had a spot left on their team was Alicia Keys so, even if the other coaches wanted him, they couldn’t turn because their teams were full!

New, good twist… the 4-way Save. The 4 saved artists in the Knockouts (?) all sing for America’s vote.
Bad twist… there are ONLY 3 weeks of Live Shows this season. Guess it really IS about the coaches after all!

I really enjoyed opening night. Who watched?
The trivia questions are nerve wracking, if you play along! I missed 2 of the 3 or 4 (?) bonus questions at the very end of the show. Cost me 4,000 points. That should make musicmerit happy! LOL.
I watched but didn’t play along. It is too distracting for my feeble brain! I thought it was a good show. Maybe I was in a good mood but I thought the judges were pretty funny. It seems to be a good mix.
I didn’t really love the first guy (8 kids) at the beginning, but his personality won me over.
Looking forward to the season.
What is Kelly’s record? Didn’t she win 3 (at least 2 times) out of 4 or 5? So percentage wise she has the most wins. But she never uses that fact to taunt them, the way Blake does…

I saw that graphic about Kelly. I was not able to watch much, was in and out of the room, but followed along enough to get 33,000 points.
Just watched Blinds 2 on YouTube. What a disappointing night, IMO. I do not see anyone going very far in this group. Toneisha was okay but Rose Short, from last season, sang that song so much better!
This season seems to have either lots of mature voices or very young voices. There seems to be a shortage in the middle— so far.
I’m surprised there hasn’t been any country yet. And agree that they’re all very young or past their prime. lol
