I enjoyed Mike Jerel. But IMO, the best performance of “It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World” during the blinds was from season 2 of The Voice of Holland:

The 2 versions are so different. I liked how Mike Jewel changed it up, except for a couple of runs too many.

I believe taped several weeks ago or more. There will only be 3 Live Shows from what I understand. I wonder if the Live Shows will be postponed or even cancelled? Where is skieurope when we need him?

The first battle was the best, at least that is what I thought! Levi kicked it out of the park, kind of felt bad for the other guy in that battle.
I wish Joanna (1st Battle) would break herself of a very bad habit. She ‘shakes’ her mic back and forth when she goes for her big notes. She did it last night and it was REALLY noticeable in her Blind audition. Other than that, I like her a lot. I like Levi also. I just think he should have waited 2 years before coming on the show.

I have not picked a team and am not playing along with the app. I will vote when the time comes, though. I don’t really have a favorite yet. The battles this week were kinda meh.
This season, the Battles have been too combative overall, with too few collaborative duos.
What do you think about the Save format this season, where all 4 coaches’ saves compete in a 4-way competition for instant fan votes and the winner moves on to the Playoffs?
I think NBC should cancel the Spring shows and do just one Fall season per year. Once per week Blinds (except premiere week) and Battles, plus only 3 weeks of Live Shows, has lowered the show’s excitement for me this season.

That last battle was my favorite of the whole season.

Great Battle to close the show. My money is on Megan Danielle to at least make the Finals (Team Kelly). She just turned 17.

I sent a message to NBC to let them know that they had an incorrect answer on their App Trivia question: ‘How many siblings does Megan Danielle have?’ According to her bio, on The Voice App, she has ‘4 siblings’. But during the show, they said the correct answer was 3. I want my points…

I recalled a picture with four people in Megan’s story, but I wasn’t sure if the mom was in the picture. I knew the answer was 2 or 3. Maybe they don’t know how to do basic math. If my parents have 4 kids, then I have 3 siblings. Keep them on their toes!

I was wondering, will their be a “live” show once it goes down to 12 (or whatever the number) contestants?
I hope they practice social distance and still have a show, with no audience, coaches, contestants, instrument band, etc…all 10-15 feet apart, contestants wear masks except for when on stage, etc…
I haven’t heard what they will do about the live shows. Maybe @jshain knows what the plans are.
Tonight, I was not as impressed with Megan, but that song always makes me cry. I can’t relate to it as I have a wonderful dad, but it still gets to me.
The one who surprised me most was Zan. Where did she come from? I don’t even remember her from the blinds!

Agree. Disappointing show overall. Megan needs to work on her enunciation. She doesn’t finish her words. ‘Piece’ sounded like ‘pea’.
I heard that equipment was being transported to the artists’ ‘cribs’ for the Live Shows. But, for that to work, the equipment and the rooms would all have to be identical. There are just 3 Lives this season. Maybe skieurope will confirm…
The highlight for me this season is the depth and quality of singer-songwriter artists— Allegra, Joanna, Zan, and Thunderstorm.
Megan is still my favorite female. Overall, I find the ladies more interesting than the guys this season.
I think I might ‘tap out’ playing along at home. I cannot enjoy the show!
I lost 2 tonight— Tate and Cam Spinks. I took a gamble adding Cam. He was a huge disappointment and deserved to go home. I replaced them with Zan and Micah.
