We are just channeling the fashion stylists in us. Im not bothered by the negative comments re: shows or contestants. Its all in good fun and within the bounds of being PC. Since there was no Cole and his guitar to watch and listen to I deliberately missed last nights show. Good luck to everyone esp. to Will.

I haven’t a clue as to who will win because the rules are so convoluted. As of right now…which is after the cut off…all 3 of them have songs in the top 10. To my surprise, Will is #8 and Jacquie #9.

I don’t know if duets count…if they do, Tessanne and Will both have duets in the top 10 and Jacquie doesn’t.

If I were Jacquie’s parents I’d be praying she does NOT win. She 's only a high school junior and I think she should go back to high school and live a normal life for a while.

I admit I only started watching this show because I was already a Tessanne fan…but IMO she’s gotten better through the season.

Tiny Dancer was the best duet, I thought, but I don’t think Tess was the weak link vocally in Let it Be. Will is my second favorite. Jacquie is just boring to me, and has no low range at all. I really like the Tess songs where she can show off her range, the low parts are some of my favorites.

All 3 had individual new performance in the Top 10 on itune at the cutoff. Tess was #1 and Will was one spot ahead of Jacquie.

Only the individual songs “counted” on itunes for the 5x multiplier for the last vote. ALL itune downloads for individual songs for an artist count for the finale total. No one seems to know whether the downloads of the re-dos of the blinds from last night count (or not) since one rule is that only one download of a song counts.

Seems the smart money (based on itunes) says Tessanne wins. Jacquie 2nd because Will only started getting significant downloads later in the game. But–we’ll see.

As to the contestants style and appearance- a lot of their “look” is created by the show’s stylists. They are paid professionals and they have a lot of sway in how each contestant presents herself.
I happen to love Tess’s personality and her voice. She’s a doll. I don’t think she seems 40, but a very mature “going on 30.” She is very polished and gracious- not something you see in most 20s-somethings these days. To me, it adds to her appeal.

I still do not get the Jacquie-love. Everyone ELSE who sang Bohemian Rhapsody with Jacquie was so much better than Jacquie … her first notes were especially awful. Her low range is not good, and her high range is not “pretty.” Guess I am a sucker for tone (and pitch).

Responding to kelsmom about Jacquie. I don’t recall one duet or group number she’s been in where I liked her. And, on the flip side, can not recall one duet or group number from Caroline that I did NOT like. For me, Caroline really shined in her group numbers.

The singers agree with you, jshain … this is the second group Caroline was picked for. I like her voice, too.

I like a lot of the voices, and I think some very talented singers were let go sooner than they should have been. I don’t know that any of the singers has big market appeal, but I think several could definitely have good indie careers. I really think Will has a very good chance of making it “big” in music (whatever that really is these days).

I’ve heard Christina be amazing, and when she demonstrates things for her team she always sounds remarkable, but the songs she has chosen to sing this season are not at all attractive, to me, anyway, and don’t display her ability. She’s been cultivating a very harsh sound.

Jacquie is singing something undistinguished right now.

I’d like to hear Will and Cole singing some Van Morrison classics like Tupelo Honey and Moondance. Sigh.
