is this courseload intesnse or light?

AP Physics B
APCS A
AP US History
AP English Language
AP Spanish Language
Calc 150/160 (community college DE)

so in summary 6 AP’s and a CC class

not trying to be arrogant of course…esp. note that i’m taking Physics B instead one of the C’s (my school doesn’t offer them) and APCS A instead of AB (which doesn’t exist anymore)

Lightest load ever. Sheesh. What a waste of time. I took those AP classes when I was in middle school. Get your life back on track. Get help.

…

OP, I take it you are a ■■■■■, yes?

FAIL! You’ll never be a workoholic at this rate!

i’m not a ■■■■■…and i’m totally serious (i was wondering whether to replace AP Spanish w/ another course)

so will next year be hell for me?

it looks like you’re taking the hardest classes your school offers, plus an extra community college course. in the context of your school, it’s as heavy as possible. with that said, it could still be a joke depending on your abilities.

Colleges look down on Physics B. You are doomed.

how are you going to have time to cure cancer and do ECs?

That’s very intense. Good for you though, if you think you can handle it!

That’s not bad, you’ll be taking them as a sophomore right? I took some of those my freshman year but as long as you get them out of the way soph year, you can take real classes for junior/senior year.

This is actually quite pathetic…

pretty light tbh

i’m gonna be taking those classes next year as a junior

i wish my school didn’t spend all it’s resources on IB…then they would have teachers to teach AP Calc and Physics C and AP Spanish Lit

Your course load = epic fail.

Just try to focus on that community college class. That’s probably where you’ll end up in two years.

I would think that 3-4 AP is enough to show that you’re challenging yourself, unless you think that any less would be extremely boring. At my interview, I only got to list 3 AP classes before the interviewer commented on my “rigorous” schedule (She was the one that asked me how many classes I was taking, so I wasn’t being snotty and stuck-up =P).
APCS A could be easy or hard depending on your teacher and your abilities. I had a teacher that didn’t teach much and I sucked at reasoning in computer language. I did nightmarishly in that class.
AP Eng Lang- took american studies and we covered mainly AP USH. Wrote maybe 2 papers a month. Not impossibly hard.
AP USH- memorization and reading amsco
The rest of the classes I don’t have experience with though I heard that physics B is basically relearning physics h with more in depth understanding

That’s a pretty intense load.
