Does it make you feel better about yourself that you resort to messing with some high school students on a college forum, because you know that if you did that to any of your friends (if of course, you have any) they would kick your ass? <p>This might seem really dumb, but how do you check your app status? It says I need to log in with my “name.#,” and I have no idea what it is.</p>
<p>Not dumb question at all… You should have received an email a few days after submitting your application that contains your username and password.</p>
<p>Eek, I kind of thought that was the case. The only email I’ve received is one that says "
We are pleased to acknowledge receipt of your application to The Ohio State University for Autumn (September) 2011." 
Should I get in contact with admissions people, or should I just wait? I sent my application on November 27th.</p>
