Got to be one of my biggest pet peeves. And US Weekly got it wrong today in a story about Charlie Sheen.

[Charlie Sheen reportedly doing rehab at home - Entertainment - Celebrities - TODAYshow.com](http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/41359242/ns/today-entertainment/)

Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act

Get it right!

Good luck with this…when you conquer this battle, can you work on FAFSA not FASFA?!? Even our high school guidance counselor says it wrong…aarrggh!

nicksmtmom - if one person on CC starts to get it right because of this thread, I will feel I have accomplished something!

But that’s pretty bad about FAFSA v. FASFA - you’d think a high school guidance counselor would know better. Obviously this counselor has not had any kids apply to college yet!

terwitt
Consider yourself successful - I am quite sure I have mangled this acronym (recently too). But I will remember this thread and use it properly now!!

I like HIPPO better…or maybe HARPO.

Lol, i hate to admit it but I typo that one sometimes. I know what it stands for and I know what the acronym is, but sometimes I type it so fast it comes out wrong. There are certain things I search for at work with that in the search and whenever it comes up with 0 results I check my spelling and naturally I have it wrong again!

newenglandmother - I guess I can retire from CC now! (not)

ellemenope - I’ve probably seen HIPPO, too! But this was a national publication. Geez.
