Times… I signed him up for the DePaul Debut… which is an event where he will arrive on Friday Jan. 17th, visit campus…( can’t wait to see the new theater building as well), do some workshops, sit in on a theater class, and spend the night with a theater student. The next day at 8:00 am he will then audition. If he makes call backs he will stay till 3 pm, if not, he will be released at 11:00. It looks like if you make the call back you get to work even further on your monologue, and some assigned impromptu scene readings with a partner. I think my S will like it, no matter what the outcome. He decided to do a couple on campus auditions instead of all at Unifieds/consortium because it will be nice to not have such a jam packed schedule that one weekend. He will also be on campus at Chapman( an hour from home), UNSCA and BU. His drama teacher wants him to take a look at Roosevelt too, so hopefully we will have time that weekend in Chicago to check it out too. My S REALLY likes the theater scene in Chicago, in contrast to NYC.
