I’ve been watching the office for 4 years, and i’m so bummed Steve carell is leaving. I mean will ferrel’s funny and all, be he’s nothing compared to Micheal Scott.

Any thoughts?

Any thoughts?

The show will soon be cancelled.

^Agreed.

Michael was the life of the party

I agree. Steve Carell and the character of Michael Scott brought so much humor to the show, and Michael and Dwight were like the invincible duo. Maybe it’s just me, but I cannot really imagine such a connection between Will Ferrell and Dwight. It might last a season or two, at the most.

Ferrell is only going to be there for 4 episodes, he’s just a guest.

I thought Michael was kind of annoying. Jim and Pam are the best part of the show.

I think this could work, as Cheers did, if there’s a suitable replacement and they adjust the focus of the plot.

Get. Out.

The show will end soon, he’s the main attraction.

its horrible will does hold a candle to Michael

… this saddens me.

Steve Carell brought life to the character.

Alright I’m advocating for Donald Glover to get a role on the office. Jk.

The funny thing is it’s not even an original character. Why would people think he’s so irreplaceable when he’s basically a replacement himself

I thought Ricky Gervais was going to be his replacement after seeing him in that one episode. DeAngelo Vickers sucks and he is also kind of a pu$$y. The show will probably end soon, and Michael Scott will be remembered as a legend.

That was petty much his raison d’

The star of The Ricky Gervais Show isn’t even Ricky Gervais. It would have been nothing without the “bald-headed buffoon who is Karl Pilkington.”

I dunno, I always like the British version better. The American version was just… dare I say, stupider. Just my opinion

I think Ricky’s brilliant. And no, he said he’d never replace Steve Carrel in the American version.

@billymc: true, but he was the one who found Karl and came up with the idea for the show.

How do you know Will Ferrel will only be there for four episodes? Why would they make such a big deal of “the new boss” if hes just a guest for four episodes?

He has had a few funny parts on the show, but I just don’t see him being a good replacement. Even in the last two episodes where they were both on the show together. Steve Carrel outshone Will Ferrell by a landslide. Shouldn’t they be trying to get people to like the new character of DAngelo?

I think the show will go for one more season, and then end. Without Steve Carell, The Office probably won’t be as good. And besides, it wasn’t that funny this season anyway.

I would be surprised if the show made it through the next season.

^It needed to end before this, anyway. The writing has gone way downhill and all of the characters, particularly Steve Carell’s, are way too over the top.

I don’t even get what they’re trying to do with Will Ferrell…he’s supposed to be exactly like Michael, only slightly more reasonable and cynical? Or something?
