it's that time of year again...

Teachers and administration alike like to call it “Spring Fever”. It’s when a wave of lethargy strikes student where it hurts the most…school. Behavior starts to make a turn for the worst but most importantly, grades start slipping. So I’ve made this thread so we can find ways to keep each other motivated throughout the year so we can finish this year strong. So, lets start making a list on how to keep motivation, determination, and activity up. :D

1.Stay focused on schoolwork and try to avoid distractions.

Columbia - My MOTIVATION … every time i lurk past that forum, i feel compelled to go do my homework.

I dunno about my strategy or how long its going to work, but its doing its job for now …LOL

Personally, I just think about how many days are left and I think about how good I’ll feel if I really give it my all for the homestretch. It’s like that feeling you get after you run really really hard; you feel like hell while you’re actually running, but once you finish and the endorphins kick in it’s amazing. If I don’t run as best I can, I don’t really feel truly satisfied when I’m done. For me, schoolwork is exactly the same  I don’t want any lingering doubts after I finish High School (“how much better could I have done if I had only tried/studied a little harder?”)

I don’t know if thoughts like these work for you, but they do for me :)

Good luck, all!
