My son just did the petition yesterday. He’s a LATE petition. He was a DA into College of Arts and Sciences and changed majors. Yikes.
Anyone hearing back on their SSA yet? Hutton, etc?
No, I actually asked his AO about this today with a few other questions and she said to contact Hutton directly about it, but that typically they go out end of Feb/March. So I’ll wait until Mid-March before I contact them.

We did a virtual with Hutton Honors a couple weeks ago and it’s as you say, End of February and they hope to be finished by mid- March.

Drop the econ classes. I emailed Kelley and they said that this upcoming year they would no longer fulfill the Kelley econ requirement. Unless you want to get more credits so that you have higher priority for class registration, then I would drop the exams
Seriously? So no matter what AP score you get, it wont meet the ECON-E 202/201 requirement for Kelley?
No. They are making the required class ECON-B 251 which can’t be fulfilled through AP credit since it’s business focused.

Correct. I have the credit for micro and was planning to take the macro exam. I was pretty upset when I learned about the changes, but I guess it’s best to refresh myself on the concepts.
Yes @joshsmother DD heard about SSA from Media School: found a financial portal update & also in her IU Gmail - so be sure DS is checking there.
(Don’t think any of that new info was sent to her personal email.) Think she read that a snail mail letter would follow. No SSA updates just yet from Hutton Honors.

Well that leads me to believe they haven’t come out yet, since I haven’t seen any talk about it thus far. Keep waiting it out!
I looked back and saw in 2017 that some of the SSA’s were starting to be awarded in the later part of February. We were told on a virtual meeting with Hutton that their intentions were to start in the same time frame and finish in March. Now it’s possible that COVID-19 could be delaying things a bit. My son didn’t get into Hutton until his December ACT scores were sent to IU in early January. There were probably a decent amount of other kids who did the same. Good Luck

Does it take about a month to hear back for the Kelley petition? Submitted last week.
We have heard nothing from Hutton. We got our FA letter in the mail earlier this week.

Anybody have any sense of how much hutton honors awards tend to be?
Most are in the 1-2,000$ range but a few can be up to 5-6,000$. I’d be very happy if my son could get the 1-2,000$ scholarship. Hutton is like everything else at IU when it comes to scholarships, very competitive.
