This year is much slow than last year, isnt it?
Nothing in November
they just started to reply end of January

Does anyone know if another DA could be added in April?

My son is in similar situation, 2nd transcript is just from a summer course he did after Junior year. Does anyone know if Kelley does not grant appeal if all the available seats gets filled up before they can look at appeals?

That’s not how the process works - they don’t fill up and stop reading apps. A school like Ross or someone could fill up from an Early Action batch for example before Regular Decision applicants have a chance. Kelley requires everyone to have submitted in EA to be admitted in the petition.

Thanks. Yes my son did apply EA, Hopefully we will hear back soon favorably. He wants to attend DA day but doesn’t look like we will get a chance.

I wouldn’t get fatalistic, it is now Feb 5. DA days are Feb 16/17 and March 1/2. That’s a lot of time, I appreciate airline tix are a problem but you can usually also buy those refundable for a bit of an extra cost. Kelley will issue a lot of decisions in the next 30 or fewer days. If DA days is a goal and I’m not at all judging financial situations the extra few hundred on a refundable ticket might be worth it. To each their own.

Its about 11 hours drive from my home. Worst case I will drive up there if we can attend. Sorry one more question. Does the direct admit day gets filled up or can you sign up at the last minute?

Will Kelley send rejection letter if not admitted from appeal or do students just don’t get acceptance letter?

Kelley will send you something - often its a spot on the wait list. Some are admitted, some rejected. Usually very little no news pending apps after mid-March.

As for DA days in the prior question - DA days do fill in prior years but last year they were much later in the calendar so take that as a limited comparison FWIW. There are like 2500 people there so I don’t really know what “full” means TBH.

There are also Red Carpet Days with breakout sessions in Kelley. That’s what we booked as the dates worked better for us.

Anyone know if dates are published for NSO or any of the general on campus summer events for incoming students? I’ve looked thru website and wasn’t able to locate details other than for IU Preview Events for potential students.

NSO dates, signups are not out yet. From what I recall with my current sophomore they aren’t available until after May 1 when students commit

Until FAFSA is figured out nuttin going to be planned. May 1 is likely to become June 1 for most schools on commit.

with da days coming up is it likely we’ll see more review results released

With April 15 coming up you’ll see Kelley decisions released. They are trickling out now relatively steadily but small. Then there will be a big wait list drop at some point in the next few weeks typically. Nobody they admit now IU cares about attending DA days - that group has already been admitted. Red Carpet days work just fine.

What is the difference between DA days vs Red Carpet? Are they the same thing?

Also, are those the only Kelley admitted student events?

Anyone heard anything about ACE invitations? Previous years they were out before now. We’re hoping that they aren’t already out (and S24 excluded).
