Typically there is a Rejection which most were given a bit earlier, a Rejection - waitlist and then a waitlist with no rejection - sort of a priority waitlist. If you have not yet heard a reply you are probably on that last track, it’s a pretty small group in that batch. I would be very surprised to see many approvals between now and Apr 14 but it is possible and there will be some just not a lot.
Generally initial wait list favorable replies with be a month or so after the big batch - so right around May 3rd. The general rejection - waitlist group will hear closer to May 10.

My son just committed to IU as pre-business yesterday. He is determined to get into Kelley SA. He wants to major in finance. Once into Kelley SA, is he able to choose his major or can they restrict and force a different major on him?
Just noticed the status page changed to Business Undergraduate, about an hour earlier it was showing pre-business. Does this mean he got into Kelley? We did not get any email reply.
He can choose but not sure if there is a minimum GPA required to be accepted into finance major. Approximately 50% of all Kelley students are majoring in finance.
The waves represent the whittling down process and I believe Waitlist- Rejected is referring to Wave 3. I could be wrong but that’s how I interpreted it.
What I mean is that Kelley has emails for those it has denied the petition but put on a waitlist if things open up. That’s the majority of the answers right now.
Then it usually has a just you are on a waitlist group, small maybe 50 or 100 petitions. These are the petitions it believes will be accepted eventually and are waiting out auto admit enrollment.
Usually those priority waitlist apps would be accepted right now and have been “waitlisted” in early March. So maybe Kelley will just be silent and then admit that group in the next week instead. But not hearing as of now is probably a good sign.
The standard admit process is zero different than the auto admit process. You’ll take the exact same classes and look the exact same. When you are admitted you continue on that path just as any auto admit direct would.
So my son having heard a few days ago that he is on the waitlist up until 5/10 at latest is a bad sign at this point and he should be sinking his teeth into his other choices? Not that he wasn’t doing that already…. That is the “bad” waitlist?
Its not binary. Something that is a good sign doesn’t make something else a bad sign. You’ve been on a waitlist for a month already you just weren’t officially told that.
I don’t know why people think they NEED other options if not direct admit as if getting less than Bs as a direct admit 1st year is a strong path to employment success. Doing well > literal major.
Is there a way to tell if you are in the small pool? My decision states that they would like to accept me but need to put me on a waitlist due to the extraordinary applicant pool.

The issue isn’t really with running Excel program - it’s Access. I believe k201 has modules on both.
Still waiting to get confirmation email but noticed our financial aid changed as well. We got $5K kelley vanguard scholarship and $6K dean scholarship, very happy with the amounts. Once kelley petition confirmation comes out will commit. Does anyone knows how we will know about Hutton honors? We did not receive any emails but our stats are eligible for direct admit. Tried calling the hutton honors number but was never able to talk with a live person, left message couple of times but no luck.
It’s been pretty quiet on here, but wondering if anyone else has heard anything this week? We still haven’t heard a thing and I am thinking we just need to move on at this point. I am very doubtful that son would be in that “small pool” as his stats are not as high as some that have either been rejected or again waitlisted.
