Ive been read the riot act!

EK - I think electronblue post #23 has a good suggestion. I went to read the post you were referencing and I read some of your other posts, also. You reveal a lot of private information - about your perception of your family’s social status, your personal issues - like bipolar and lots of details about your Ds - flunking classes, going to summer camp, traveling to specific places (you give the names), financial information, home remodeling, the job of your spouse, etc.

Seriously - you might want to consider opening a new account - you can use a gmail address.

Best to you.

EK4 - if we do a good job as parents, we all get read the riot act sometimes for our statements/inquiries by our kids and vice versa. It shows that we each protect our boundaries and are not afraid to stand up to each other. My children know of my fascination with CC - and I guess I blew my cover between my name and proudly posting an article on my son here. On the other hand, I have no interest in facebook or myspace and my children have that all to themselves.

EK - I can understand your D being upset, but I hope she handled her feelings in a respectful way towards you. I don’t know what your idea is of being “ripped a new one” but it doesn’t sound like someone a daughter should do to a mother, no matter what the circumstances. My D is 20, but there are still ways in which she could talk to me that would have consequences.
