James Madison University Early Action for Fall 2024 Admissions

Probably because they’re still competing with other schools for students.

We just checked portal, no changes to obsess on. Oh well!

If I remember correctly, when the portal crashed, I believe either cell phones, or iPads were actually getting through at a faster rate. I’d have multiple devices ready to go.

If they come out before 3, my son will still be asleep on this snow day, so he won’t contribute to the crashing servers.

I still have a feeling it’s going to be later this week

I agree. All offices are closed today. I just am curious as to why the delay. What seems to be the problem.

In all honesty, there’s a lot less work done on snow days. People might have shoveling/de-icing to do, power issues, and young kids at home from school. It’s not unreasonable to think that a decision was made to postpone the release.

Did everyone see this…
“Early Action can be more competitive than the Regular Decision process. To be admitted through Early Action, a student needs to be superior in curriculum and grades. For the last two years, 35 to 42 percent of the students deferred from Early Action to Regular Decision were eventually admitted. Students who apply through the Early Action process do not have an advantage over students who apply Regular Decision.”
