Class of 1994 waiting to hear about my son’s application. Thanks for the reminder about the application being included in the middle of the brochure!! I remember coming home to the fat envelope from JMU admissions like it was yesterday. Good luck to all!

Same! Running to the mailbox when my friend called from my same home town in Maryland that she’d gotten hers! My daughter is eagerly awaiting some news here - gosh it’s so hard to wait! Any sense of if Legacy matters, for real?

That’s really promising!
If you really read that–it’s pretty vague, and tells us nothing about decisions being released! I do like the meeting with “admissions professionals”–although–that could mean ANYTHING!
For whatever it’s worth, I still think decisions are coming today

Take it for what it might be worth. Reddit JMU post says early action decisions to be “released on or by Jan 23.” Poster is an alumni with a friend in the Admissions Office. Fairly weak sourcing but just thought I’d throw that out there…

Yes, it seems solid. It is highly doubtful that consultant would be allowed in any meeting where decisions were still being discussed. One would assume that the meeting is to get external feedback before the final early action decisions are released. Lol…assumptions are all we have at the moment.

i’m convinced it’s coming out today! the choices open house registration (a jmu open house for admitted students) just opened up today, where as before today it read a message saying something like “registration will open when decisions are released.” this happened last year as well on the day decisions were released, but before the actual decisions came out…
