I am a guidance counselor in Massachusetts. We get intel all the time on release dates, number of applications, etc. No word on JMU at all. Very buttoned up!
Our daughter refreshed starting around 1:30/2pm two years ago and got her decision before she got the notification from JMU that there was a decision in the portal. Good luck to all!

Wouldn’t they post on IG??
Apparently they posted on IG and sent emails after the decisions were released on the portals in past years. At least that’s what others have posted on here.
From what I have seen, they might do something like a “Welcome Class of 2028!” post after the fact…

Both years for my kids, the portals updated about 45-60 minutes before the IG post. I can’t remember how much later the emails came.
If today is the day the portal will likely update between now and 2:00, though I have heard they toyed with a later release to be less disruptive to the actual high schools. Once word gets out, kids in class tune out.
My DD logged into her account just now and it had her change her password. Is this a good sign?

Schools should be required to post decisions in evenings. I can’t imagine trying to teach a class when a dozen or more kids are hearing from a school. Or what if these kids are taking a test and just got rejected?

It’s hard enough for me to focus on my work at the office, and not check this forum and IG all day!

UMASS Amherst comes out tomorrow. It’ll be ALLLLLLLLLLLL kids talk about ALLLLLLLLLLL day. Torture.

Lol…I teach middle school as well. Luckily, it is teacher work day, so more time to keep checking on here. Though, might be nice to have some distractions…
According to an IEC posting on a FB group - JMU will release decisions sometime today. Hopefully the information is correct.
