I was at the Tuesday show as well. CK was rocking some stilettos as she jumped around on stage. So. Much. Fun.

I must be the age of your older brothers and sisters because I was always a JT and CK fan. I do have older brothers and sisters, but I think I’m more of a fan than they are.

blueiguana, My boys’ lullaby was JT’s You Can Close Your Eyes. I was still playing JT in the car when we moved to NC and my kids sang along to Carolina In My Mind as little, little children.

I have a funny “old geezer” concert story. When my boys were about 11 and 13 we took them to their first concert, Elton John. As we were getting out of the car my oldest looks at me and says, with a gasp, “Mom, everyone is your age!” When we were riding home after the concert the younger one asks us, with shock in his voice, “Did you see that old drunk gramma in front of us dancing?” LOL, I think it was a good educational experience for them.

I have some tickets for the July 5th show in Boston at the Tanglewood Shed that I can no longer use. Can anybody use them? I would charge what I bought them for.

Great concert last night at the Pru in NJ; afterwards I mentioned that this was a check-off on the “bucket list” of concerts; Carole King was just terrific…

what was not fun was the two hour back-up to get home on 280 last night…anyone else get stuck in the 10 mile construction? yuch…

rodney ~ yikes! Glad we chose to get tix for Wilkes Barre on Monday night. It’s 1 1/2 - 2 hours for us, but at least we will be moving the whole time, not sitting in traffic! Where did you park? That was another of my concerns with Pru (haven’t been there for an event yet)

Fantastic concert last night! CK is just amazing. Her “I Feel the Earth Move” had the whole place rocking! I was considering getting tix for Simon and Garfunkel this summer, but I just saw they have cancelled this tour and hopefully will reschedule.

^I saw Simon and Garfunkle in '91 at Madison Square Garden for what was billed as their final concert. it was a great concert and tix back then were $100. (we thought that was a lot) Garfunkle’s curly tow headed boy was on stage and adorable, my youngest looked just like him born 4 yrs later.

kitty: parking was no problem; pre-paid parking lot right next to the Pru…great venue (but as a friend of mind said, "It would have been nice if Pru notified NJDOT that there would be a concert that night so they would have started construction an hour later…)

I would still see another concert there in a heartbeat; acoustics were terrific…
