Yay for execrable! I never heard the word in my life but I picked it because it sounded nasty.

Did anyone else mark the answer choice that was “churlish…mollified” ?

anyone remmeber “creative lapse” in the answers? and why did the japanese author keep asking questinos? I said to “introduce new problems” but i’m pretty sure im wrong now…

LOL I didn’t know it’s definition either! I arrived at it through process of elimination XD

No. I thought about it a lot, though. I thought mollified meant embarrassed but it doesn’t. Churlish would have fit, though.

What’s a questino? :)

For the asking questions one, I picked the “underscore predicaments” one. That was a harder one too. I don’t know if I was right.

I am realizing now how bad my essay was. Short intro, two body paragraphs (pretty good but personal examples which i’ve heard they don’t like as much) and then barely any time for a conclusion. like a concluding sentence basically. It was well written overall, but I feel like I’m gonna end up with a 6 or something. If I got pretty much all of the multiple choice correct, what would that make my writing score?

I think the answer to the questions question was the one about trivial differences or something.

Njlokk, you’d get somewhere in the 700s.

I chose “underscore predicament” as well.

What was the answer to the comparison of the two portions of the rice passage?
Shocking revelations or musings?

i put that the japanese author kept asking questions to emphasize a predicament? or an answer with the word “predicament” in it.

For those of you who had 4 critical reading sections, which one was the experimental?

What about the one with something like " a X 10^5 / b X 10^-4 " ?

Can’t remember if I put between 10^7 and 10^8 or between 10^8 and 10^9 (was this even a choice?). Anyone remember the answer? Or the question, for that matter. Looks like it depends on what they defined for a and b.

Nah, you probably won’t actually end up with a 6 for an essay like that…it’ll probably be an 8 at least. And 100% on MC but a 6 essay is usually around 750 maybe(well according to the blue book at least XD)?

Also, what did you guys get for the CR question (it was a short passage about being recognized in a place) about what small meant?

For the churlish mollifed question, does anybody remember the entire sentence? I dont remember having that question on the test…

i put musings. im confident about that one

For seahorse passage, “…to some ‘humble’ extent…” the questions was what does the ‘humble’ suggest about people.
The answer choices were: too pessimistic, prefer artifice over reality, not autonomous… does anybody remember the answer for this question?

For rice passage, which was the answer, “to introduce new problem” or “to explain particular predicament” ?

Yes, I put between 10^7 and 10^8.

Change the problem to (a/b) * 10^5 / 10^-3 and you’ll end up with (a/b) * 10^8.
So it’s some fraction of 10^8 that will be greater than one-tenth, so it’s at least 10^7.

For the humble extent one, I chose the answer dealing with autonomy because the passage was saying we needed certain surroundings to be creative.

And I put the “predicament” answer for the rice passage, but I’m not sure it was correct.

10^7 and 10^8 was the answer

i put musing.

10^7 and 10^8

I said not autonomous for the seahorse one.
