Okay how about the question about the molecule that contains phosphorous? Some options were triglycerides and starch

@mountlover96, not sure which question you are referring to. more details? i gotta go for now, but PM me if you’ve got more questions.

didn’t the question regarding photoautotrophs ask us to choose what was NOT unique about them!!!?? Hope I did not misread it.
For the lowering body temp question, I chose exercising cuz it is supposed to increase body temp, right?

I think you misread because all the other answers would have been right otherwise.

What about the one with proteins in the cytoplasm

that has to be Golgi bodies…because they are the ones that secrete packaged proteins

@pman2015 @conscience13 is that the question about that ribosomes was the first option? Because I put ribosomes for that one because even though the Golgi apparatus caused the mishap I figured it was not affected by it… It already happened

the question says proteins are left in the cytoplasm and are not secreted. This means that’s proteins were already created. So, ribosomes’ job is done and hence they aren’t mutated.

Anybody who wants to discuss this test, come to the following chat site:

I’ll there for quite a while.

Just wanted to ask you guys, what score would i get if i left 2 questions blank and 6 wrong?

could be around 740…but it really depends on the ease or difficulty of the exam…

How did you guys feel about it overall??

I think it was relatively easy…the first time I wrote it was in Oct 2013 …and that was BAD; probably because I studied just from Princeton Review.
This time, it felt easier, but there were quite a few things that even Barron’s didn’t cover. I am someone who hasn’t taken Bio in 11th and 12th so had to rely completely on test prep books. I felt the questions based on experiments were easier and what mattered more was common sense than knowledge of the subject.
Overall, since most found it easy, looks like the curve wont be easy on us
I attempted Bio E so no idea about the molecular part. Those who wrote Bio M, how was it?

I also found it relatively easy. The first time I took it was in November 2012 and though I didn’t understand most of it, I scored 690. This time I actually prepared and understood what I was reading! I am hoping for something around 750+.

I took the Bio M and it was much easier than I had been expecting. Everyone in my class who also took the Bio M (about ten of us) found it pretty easy as well.

I finished in ~32 minutes. I found it quite simple and the last q in M was the same thing in the PR book test 2.
Meh :-/

The phosphorus one is RNA because RNA has a phosphate backbone as it’s a nucleic acid.

what was the answer to the question that asked what was an example of evolution. the choices were like an organism that develops a gene for running and a population was isolated due to a geographic barrier and cant produce offspring together

It was the lizard one - with the river separating the two. The environment changed and so a new species formed.

The other choices made no sense at all.

okay thanks. what about the question that asked what was true about DNA replication. It like I, II, III
