<p>Alumni Coordinator</p>

<p>In collaboration with the Public Affairs team, this position is responsible for promoting greater contact and cooperation among former participants of USG-sponsored exchange programs and other mission programs. The incumbent will promote networking among alumni and participation in any programs that create cross-cultural understanding, and will be the focal point of the Embassy’s outreach hub to engage alumni as credible voices in their communities, in support of our Embassy Mission Strategic Goals.</p>

<p>A bachelor’s degree in one of the social sciences, education, liberal arts, international relations or other related equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of experience working within a high performing, flexible team.
Must have excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
Must be familiar with Singaporean and U.S. education systems.
Must have knowledge of Singapore‘s environment whether it be the social, economic, governmental, educational, art or sports.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to initiate and maintain contacts with alumni, partner organizations, Bureau of Educational Cultural Affairs (ECA) and Embassy colleagues.
Competence in MS Office software program, social media and networking skills.</p>

<p>Education USA Coordinator</p>

<p>This position is responsible for overseeing and promoting greater contact and cooperation with the Education USA Center in Singapore.  The incumbent will promote Education USA program objectives among Singapore students and schools by visiting local schools and writing regular reports, preparing and disseminating news concerning Education USA, maintaining the database, creating strategies to assess the effectiveness of program outreach activities, contributing content to websites and promoting Education USA on social media platforms.</p>
