Joe the plumber

It’s called planet Earth, c. 2000-2008.

I don’t know what to say except that the sky is falling, ahhhh!
:)

^The irony, pug, is that I suspect that you’re one of the wealthy wannabees to which nbachris refers, so you’ll continue to support Republican policies that don’t benefit you. Where you come from, perhaps that is called being a conservative. Where I come from, we call that being a sucker.

If you mean do I support welfare, no I don’t. Bill Clinton didn’t either, bless him :)

Wait, so are you saying that at this moment our country has nothing to worry about? Like your buddy John McCain says, “The fundamentals of our economy are strong”? Seriously, you don’t think there’s anything wrong in this country?

No I don’t think there’s anything wrong with this country, that’s of course, the antithesis to the sky is falling, so that must be my belief right?

If you didn’t think a statement of “It’s called planet Earth, c. 2000-2008.” in response to Republicans aren’t boogeymen doesn’t warrant mocking… I think that’s precious :D

Gas prices are lower and going lower, credit is being lent again, yes jobs are still being lost, and consumers have a lack of confidence in the markets, [Overview: Public Not Desperate About Economy or Personal Finances](<a href=“Public Not Desperate About Economy or Personal Finances | Pew Research Center”>Public Not Desperate About Economy or Personal Finances | Pew Research Center) but they are coming around :)

“Why “cut” taxes for 95% when 40% don’t even pay?”

Because those 40% are retired, disabled, or homemakers?

But by all means, get more insensitive. It’s entertaining on the internet, sad as it may be in real life.

He wants to give them some help? Do it.

Don’t throw money at them and disguise it under the notion of “cutting” taxes.

McCain is also throwing money at people in the form of his health plan, but the difference is that he isn’t robbing from Joe, on the verge of success, to pay for someone else.

$5000 for a health care plan? All my pre-med friends laughed at that.

How many small businesses in this country make more than 250,000 a year?

Pug - the 40% don’t pay income taxes line is a conservative lie that you’ve swallowed.

Most of those pay “payroll” taxes. It’s essentially the same thing.

The lies from Palin and her running mate McCain are piling up - learn to discern them.

They aren’t the same. FACT :)

“The irony, pug, is that I suspect that you’re one of the wealthy wannabees to which nbachris refers, so you’ll continue to support Republican policies that don’t benefit you. Where you come from, perhaps that is called being a conservative. Where I come from, we call that being a sucker.”

True that.

The delusions of grandeur in this country…

“Sarah Palin reminds me of me, so that makes her qualified to be president!”

“I’m going to continue to support economic policies that hurt me, because one day, I WILL invent that self-cleaning leaf gutter and get rich quick!”

These people need a reality check and an honest self-appraisal.

“McCain is also throwing money at people in the form of his health plan, but the difference is that he isn’t robbing from Joe, on the verge of success, to pay for someone else.”

Correct. He’s borrowing from China.

I still want to know how many of our small businesses make more than 250,000 dollars a year.

As someone who signs many payroll checks, I can assure you they serve the same function as paying income tax. The only difference is that the employer withholds the money and then sends it in.

No, his health care costs aren’t coming from China  It’s widely known where it’s coming from and that’s something you can find out for yourself, college kid.

Obama’s tax giveaway doesn’t discern between bums and earners, it’s crafted so that he can have a 95% pitchline.

But that isn’t the point, the point is that there are some people that are in favor of reshuffling wealth and punishing success and those that aren’t.

Basic liberalism right there, punishing those who do well. And here I thought that America was supposed to be a land of opportunity, where with enough hard work anyone could do well for themselves.

Well, not according to Barack. Do TOO well and you’re gonna have to pay.

Rich people aren’t being thrown into poorhouses because of progressive taxes. Stop being so hysterical.
