UNC2020AAmerican Just curious … where are you going instead?
@engineering2020 I want to go to UNC CH because I’m instate and the cost for me to attend is almost 1/6 of what I would pay at Johns Hopkins, and I feel that I would have more fun at UNC while still being in a competitive environment. Also, I’m waiting to hear back for the CSS scholarship for UNC, and if I get that then I’m 100% sure that I’m going to UNC.
When people hear that I’m debating between the two schools, they usually want me to pick Johns Hopkins because of how prestigious the school is and how the name matters, but I know that if I were to go to Johns Hopkins that I would be constantly depressed because I feel that the people there are too cutthroat for me. Before I make a final final decision though, I’ll probably visit Johns Hopkins to get a feel for the environment and investigate first hand whether the school would be a good fit.
Rejected from Hopkins and accepted to Harvey Mudd on the same day. Congratulations to everyone who made it in
