i live in maryland so its like the perfect school for me. i wanna be a dentist/maybe an oral surgeon.
what classes should i take junior and senior year? im a sophomore now and i wanna know if my schedule is something they’d like. i’m taking:</p>

maybe a BS class like sociology</p>
<p>if you want to be a dentist, you don’t have to go to JHU. Hopkins’ high powered science undergrad is for med school, and top notch science programs. Dentistry is not difficult to get into… you could go to UM and still do just as well. Some JHU premeds don’t even list dental school as a fallback option. That being said, as we have learned in mid life and on, it’s not always about how smart you are. Money is an important part of life, especially if you have kids who do want to go to places like JHU at 50K a year. Oral surgeons make a ton of money, have very little malpractice, no on call…they make more money than your average MD, probably on the order of orthopedics or plastic surgeons. But I would suggest not thinking too much right now about what you want to be …just experience HS, then UG, then decide.</p>
