Was the question about whales being related to primates on the M-test? I took the E-test and don’t remember it…

Or was it the question when we had to put the organisms in order?

yep. between a nueron and muscle, chem signals called neurotransmitters.
can we go over the lab questions? I tend to misread them -.-

Lab questions that I remember:
Rats 80%
Same diet
The more the birth is prolonged, the less they will survive

chromosome seperating i put the one that looked like <____> b/c the ends were glued togethor i think it was E?

I got the same answers as Kili16, but I don’t remember the 80% question.

50000 for the growth curve?

Last on M which was experimental:
The least CO2 would be in violet
Less O2 seeking bacteria
Best zone 400-450 nm

Wharton I picked that one too and it was in the first 60.

@wharton17 the chromosomes looked like… mmm… dont know how to describe it but it was the long black line xD

Daimyo, I think the 80% rats question was asking what percent of them gave birth at 21 days. 95 rats out of 120 total,.

agreed…
the one with the purple and green genetic crosses of corn? pretty straightforward but I remember having doubts with the last question on that page. it showed 3 crosses. Cross I → f1, cross II ->parental, cross III → Bbxbb

chromosome looked like a stapler metal thing!

\ /

What about the question about the role ATP plays in muscle contracting?

The ATP was moving the myosin
And cross one was BbxBb
The scond one was BBxbb
And the third one was Bbxbb
Super easy! :)

hmm does anyone remember the estrogen question?
what’d you guys put for that one?

estrogen… all 3.
I:
<a href=“Redirect Notice”>Redirect Notice;

II: FSH and LH from ant pit (lol)

III: it was a duh kind of fact… don’t remember…

estrogen should be all 3

As I’m looking through this thread I’m getting increasingly more glad I canceled my scores during the test. I’m really upset that my HONORS Biology teacher recommended I sign up for this exam. This test was clearly for AP students. I tried to do prep work for the past week. Probably would’ve gotten over 750 if I hadn’t gotten REALLY sick this week. I’m still sick today. Couldn’t focus on any of the exam. Just glad it’s over with. Definitely not gonna retake.

Lesson learned: Don’t take SAT Subject Tests unless you’ve had an AP background for that said class. It seems obvious to most, but I’m only a freshman.

I’m taking AP Euro next year, so hopefully, I’ll have better luck with that exam.

In the question about whale, duck, shark etc, what was the answer for the first question (that one about fossils)?
And which ones excrete uric acid? Duck’s urinary system, such an interesting subject -_-

All 3 yeah
Secondary characters
Negative feedback
Don’t remember the third one xD

@Geneza
It was the starfish-shark-dino-duck
Uric acid is duck and dino
