***JUNE 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

… Missed like 5 reading and got a 31

no way, my friend missed 5 and got a 33

@HarvardPliss same the act is officially out to get me

@checkmate123 (for me personally) I got a 35 on the act, and got a 2000 on the sat (1420 two part after no studying and not knowing i was taking it that saturday). should i take the sat again so i can have both scores to present to colleges or do the highly competitive colleges not care too much about which scores are sent?

@harvardpliss i think the act says on their website that the subscores are not cumulative to the main score of the subsection…

Anyone else?

"We’re sorry. We know you are anxious to see your scores, but they cannot be viewed at this time.

We have received and processed your answer sheet, but there are still some quality assurance steps to complete before your scores can be reported. This includes resolving situations such as incomplete test form information on the answer sheet or test administration questions.

We will add scores each week as these situations are resolved, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Our goal is to report all scores within 8 weeks after the test date.ACT will notify you by email when your score report is ready."

I know I didn’t fill any bubbles wrong, what else could it be? Cheating? Proctors messing up? (they did seem clueless)

@emostyz not all are released at once.

This curve was disrespectful

@manmusthaveacode It has an option to “View scores” and specifically mentions “situations such as incomplete test form information on the answer sheet or test administration questions”

@moonwalk83 could you tell me what you mean?

Heading into my senior year. 4th time to take the test…

I’m honestly pretty happy with this score. Is there any point in taking it again? I’m already in the 99th percentile in the nation and state with this score, so…

@bkeith2698 are you going to enjoy your life or just keep taking tests until you die?

Ha! I’m quite the nerd if you can’t tell. I had a 31 on the December test, dropped to a 29 on the one I took in March (state/district test), and my parents had me take it this time around. @manmusthaveacode

Writing curve was good, reading was harsh, can’t tell about math, and science seemed like normal

so would you all say the curve on this was hard on you guys or easier

C: 36

cant believe i clutched the 36. to help u guys figure out the curve, i think i got -2 in english and -1 in reading and -1 in science. i was surprised that the science curve allowed -1 for 36, because im 100% sure i got a science question wrong.

@randxyx only on college confidential could we find a guy complaining about a 36.

@emostyz no idea mate
