I got a 34 on this ACT taking it cold as a junior:
35 - Reading
35 - English
35 - Math
31 - Science
Do you guys think I should take the test again in the fall to bring up my science? (targeting some really competitive schools) Would it be worth it if I did really good on a SAT science subject test?
@sscharter A 34 is great score, don’t retake it. It’s a waste of $50 for maybe a point or two. Focus on your ECs, GPA, and class rank instead.
I took my first act in june and scored a 33 (31E,32M,34R,33S) and I’m a rising senior. Is it worth it to study more to take september to improve my score or should I focus more on ec’s essays rank etc? Im applying to some top tier schools just don’t know where my score lands me and if its good enough
33 puts you in the range for top tier schools although your individual scores on the important Math and English sections are bottom quartile.
when do the writing scores come out?

My son got his writing score last Friday.
Yes. My son had 28 at 8th grades. 2 years later, he got 35 (no study).
How often are the writing scores released? Every Wednesday and Friday right?
I feel like my scores aren't up to par with everyone else. :((
Composite - 27.5 (It rounded to a 28.)
English - 34
Math - 27
Reading - 25
Science - 24
Can I get some suggestions on how I can increase my score to AT LEAST a 30 PLEEEEASE?
So I called ACT and they told me that there was no problem with my answer sheet, but my test still hasn’t been processed…meanwhile, everyone I know got their scores on Tuesday 
@ifizzle321 Check again Wednesday and Friday, that’s the next score release afaik
Son’s writing score came out this morning, 10 for a combined eng/writing of 33, along with a 35C I happy to say we are done with testing, now he just needs to work on college essays.
My essay is up! I honestly thought it was awful but I got a 10!!
Went from a 29 to a 32! Yey :3
12 year old just got straight 36’s on the ACT. I’m depressed.
