So I got a 32C and 10 on the essay on the April test, and I got a 35C and 8 on the essay on the June test. Should I just send in the June scores or both (to show me essay capability)? Thanks
My june act writing score hasn’t come up yet and I checked today. When do you guys think it will be up?
Also, I was talking to my guidance counselor about only taking ACT plus writing with NO Sat I. She said that I also don’t need to take any Sat 2 subject tests if I took ACT plus writing, as it will not help much. Is that true or should I still take SAT 2 subject tests if I’m going for engineering?
@Gyangdae - check with the schools on your list. Most selective engineering programs do require 2 SAT2 tests, including one math, typically level 2.
My son still did not receive his ACT score! I have never in my life heard of it taking this long to get a score. This never happened to my other son.
My son didn’t receive his scores yet, either, which did not happen to either of his sister. I’m very worried because if there is a problem, this doesn’t leave much time for him to prep for the next test. I really don’t understand why the scores are released this way. Very unprofessional.
I called ACT yesterday. I asked them if they could check to see if there were any issues with his test. The representative said there are no issues with his test. It has not been graded. My son did not take the test with writing. I do not understand why it takes so long to grade a multiple choice test.
I called too and was told the same thing. I’m not convinced that there is no problem and I guess I will next ask for a supervisor as someone at my office mentioned to me a similar experience and indicated that only supervisors will tell you if there is a problem.
@allboyz @zoosermom I still have not received my score, either 
everyone else in my testing room has- it’s a little bizarre. ACT told me there were no problems with my test, but I still worry.
My husband just called and was told that there is no rhyme or reason to when the individual tests are graded and they are graded in small batches so while it may seem otherwise, most grades haven’t been released yet. They are just in no hurry at all, bless their hearts.
I got my scores back today, did better on the SAT though haha
Is there anyone that ever just stared at the screen that says “View Scores” and didn’t click on it because he or she was scared of his or her score? No? Just me…okay
I got a ten on writing. Pretty sure I’d bombed it after I noticed an error that made me sound crazy right before time was called. All I need now is AP test scores to come in.

got a 30 comp… unfortunately, it was on the NON-essay portion… I have to retake again September probs if I want to have a chance to apply early for any colleges

My S is still waiting for his score. I called ACT today to see if there was a problem, but the rep said, nope, just hasn’t been scored yet. I asked, “The next batch is tomorrow, right? Wednesday and Friday?” And she said that they are CLOSED tomorrow due to the holiday, so the next batch goes out next Wednesday! ARGH! :((
Still waiting too. Ticked because a “supervisor” told me yesterday that the next release would be Friday morning. However, I just called and the phone rep said the next release will be Wed. Claims it will be a big release. . If they are closed tomorrow, why didn’t they release a new batch today?
No scores tomorrow?! This is so frustrating, especially for rising seniors who are trying to finalize their college lists.
They posted my son’s writing score this morning so there is hope some will get their scores today. He got a 9.
