I just got a 10 on the writing. I don’t know how to feel…? Is it good or bad?
Oh so they did post scores today…Wow…my son’s scores are still not up…
I got my essay score today…is the part where it says “comments on essay” the same for everyone?
It sounds like only some essay scores have been posted. @allboyz - I guess we can keep each other company on the waiting bench.
Did anyone see a remarkable improvement on their reading scores? My daughter’s went up 8 points from a 26 to a 34…nothing has changed. Was this reading test “easier”?
My daughter did the same with reading…what the what???
@happymochi , @eh1234 and @zoosermom I just checked my son’s status. I no longer see the view ticket option once I log in. Now it gives the option to make changes to registration. Then if I click view scores it does say registered. However, that main page changed. Have any of you noticed changes? Thanks…Hope all of our kids get their scores this week…
I got a 35 composite and an 11 out of 12 on the essay portion. I am so happy because now I think I have a shot a Stanford. If anyone needs advice just ask.
Composite- 35
Math- 36
Science- 36
English- 35
Reading- 34
English/Writing- 34
@allboyz omg yes!! I noticed it this morning and I knew something was different but I couldn’t place it!
@Username4985 any tips for reading or science? I had 36M and 35E but 32R and 33S so I want to get those up
Yes @Kat2016, do not try to understand anything. Just use your intelligence to interpret the data and find the answer. For example dont try to understand how the chemical reaction works, just look to see the reaction it has (if that is the question). Lastly, do not introduce any new information in an answer. If the reading passage is on football and never once mentions hockey, anything answer with hockey in it is wrong. I hope this helps.
@Kat2016 Also if you can answer this, is a 640 on SAT Physics bad considering I never took AP Physics 2 and only I only took AP Physics 1? And if you can look at my latest thread and chance me for colleges that would be appreciated thanks.
@Username4985 640 probably won’t cut it at stanford. It’s pretty good considering you didn’t take ap physics but put into prospect with competitors who will have near perfect scores, you may want to retake.
But it isnt required for admission, so should I not even send it?
guys I got a 30 without any prep, but im a rising senior so i guess taking a bunch of honors and AP has helped…but if i practiced my timing a lot (im very slow with standardized tests) and brushened up on some hard math (even though i got a 34 M this time) …would a 34 composite be possible?
I got a 36 composite (35E, 36M, 35R, 36S) and an 11 essay, how many others got a 36? If anybody wants any pointers let me know!
^^ There’s been ten or more on this thread alone but CC is hardly indicative of the ral world. Congratulations!
@nimbooda14 If you’re a rising senior, why would you take the June ACT without any prep? But anyway, anything is possible but I imagine it’s more likely with heavy prep you can raise your score to 32 or possibly 33. Working on Math when that was your highest score seems like the least likely way to get a bang for your buck. You’ve got get those score in the 20’s way up. I suggest you set up a rigorous practice schedule using a timer set for five minutes less for each section.
@allboyz @texananon12 - yes, my S’s front page has changed, same like your son’s, but on the other page it still says registered.
@Falcon1 Thanks and best of luck to you!
