Will scores get posted in batches throughout the day? or am i supposed to check on Fri only now?
friday’s the next batch, the actstudent twitter said all scores are done until friday.
This is getting on my nerves now. I want the wait to end. I really hope it comes on friday.
We have MC composite for D but no writing score - guess we will check back on Friday.

omg guys i got a 28 on the act compared to a 1400 on the new sat…and i got a lousy 18 on the act writing

There are a lot of posters who have gotten high composites but low writing scores. Spend the $50 to have your writing re-scored. If your composite is that high, the odds of going up (and having your money refunded) are pretty good.
I have heard from a number of sources that colleges know the writing scores are out of whack and they are basically ignoring the outlier writing scores.
I’ve lurked in this thread, fair amount of duplicate questions, misinformation, etc. If mods want, I can write a sticky, it’s my D’s 3rd time taking, so I have a pretty good sense of what’s what.
in any case, one piece of misinformation, reinforced by the act org, is that new scores are only available wednesdays and fridays. While scores are released on those days, scores are released on other days as well. Point in case, my D’s score became available this morning (a thursday). So if you’re still waiting, might want to check now.

Genuinely surprised that I got a 35. Too bad writing was still low but oh well. GL to everybody left to get their scores!
I’m so freakin tired of waiting! Why is the ACT doing this to us??? This is totally unacceptable! :(( Looks like I’m never going to get my scores back.
Well seeing all the 30’s I feel a bit subpar here but this was my first ever ACT, I prepped for 2 months, and generally I was homeschooled. I only have had 2 years of real science, never took Chemistry, and I’ve struggled with math outside of Algebra 1.

ENGLISH: 26
MATH: 23
READING: 26
SCIENCE: 18
WRITING SCORE: 26

Retook the ACT to improve writing and science and both scores went down…
Guess I’ll have to wait the twenty more days until June SAT scores are released.
