Junior year AP grades

Basically, what does this mean for me? I’m trying to decide if I did good or bad.

AP Computer Science AB-2
AP Psychology-4
AP Calculus BC-4 (AB-5)
AP US History-3

3.91GPA, 33SAT, applying to Cornell, Stanford, MIT, Northwestern, Michigan, Illinois, Carnegie Mellon, Nebraska(in state/safety).

EDIT: obviously the 33 is an ACT…not an SAT.

It’s not bad, considering that a 4 says you’re capable of doing B work in an equivalent college course, and you’re only a junior. However, many of the people applying to MIT and Carnegie Mellon in particular will have 5s on the Math and Computer Science AP exams. So while it’s not horrid, I wouldn’t call it great.

Your scores aren’t that bad, but it will be tough to get credit in schools such as MIT, Stanford, Cornell, and Carnegie Mellon. That doesn’t mean you can’t do the work, but you might not be able to skip ahead if you want to. I am not sure what their requirements are though, so they might accept a 4. Your GPA and ACT scores are great though!

From a credit standpoint, you’d get calculus credit, but nothing else at MIT. Most other schools are a little more generous, but I don’t know the extent to which they are.

AP scores aren’t revealed for admissions right?

There is a space on the common app in which one can self-report scores. It is generally advantageous to do so, but not in all cases. After choosing a school, one submits one’s score report for potential credit/placement. So lying may result in one’s admission being rescinded.

You’d have to have done abysmally not to report them.

would 2,3,4,4 hurt my admissions then?
