Junior Year Class Selection

I am currently a sophomore and I have to choose my classes for my junior year. I take the most rigorous classes my school can offer, but I attend a VERY small school, so AP courses or honors courses aren’t available to me. Despite this, I aspire to attend a prestigious college in the futre (right now I’m considering the small Reed College or possibly Berkeley or Stanford), and hope to major in Biochemistry or a related field. Would this be an appropriate schedule for me?

-English 3
-Trigonometry (basically pre-calc)
-Physics
-American History
-Anatomy and Physiology
-Spanish 4*
-Computer Programming (1 semester)*
-Emerging Tech (It’s a class that’s supposed to be engineering related, but we basically do individual projects on something science related. I’m taking the other half of it this year) (1 semester)*

*- I’m planning on taking a class at the community college in a town near us in exchange for these classes. Our school allows this. It will probably be a Chemistry or Biology class, but I’m open to others if the workload is excessive.

Sounds good! Since your school doesn’t offer AP and honors be sure to compensate for that with extra-curriculars and high SATACT scores
