Junior Year Schedule

Hello! I have never taken an AP course before, so I am not sure about my ability to handle it, however I consider myself to have a good work ethic. For reference, I’d say most of my friends are taking 3-4 AP courses next year but I’m not sure how many AP courses on average the students at my school take. Opinions please!!

Also, if I state a course as “Blended” it means half the course is in the classroom, and the other half is online. 3 days spent in class out of a 6 day cycle. This will give me a lot more study halls, but more homework.

Honors 11th Grade English Blended or AP English Language & Composition? (I have not taken Honors English yet, but that is because I dropped when I found out I got the psycho teacher, however my essay game is strong)

Geometry Blended or Possibly Honors (Math has never been my strong suit, but everyone that has taken Geometry is telling me the course at our school is so easy they could sleep through it)

AP United States History

AP Environmental Science

AP Psychology Blended

Contemporary Issues Blended or AP Human Geography (I don’t want to take too many AP’s but I’m majoring in history to become a teacher in college so I’m trying to take all of the social sciences courses offered)

Business & Personal Law

AP English language is one of the most useful AP 's that will help with every class you take.
AP Human geography is easy and important if you’re going to be a social science teacher.
Geometry honors is a no brained based on what you said.
Apush - same reason as AP human geography.
Then you need a science (no need to take an AP, pick whatever seems interesting and relatively easy. Apes if you wish, but can be something else) and a foreign language at level 3 or 4.
You can add one or two more social sciences, such as Contemporary issues or AP psychology or philosophy or sociology…

AP HUGE and APES are among the subjectively “easier” APs.

APUSH is very intensive and involves daily reading, rapt attention during class discussions, and some research projects (this varies by teacher of course).

AP EL&C is very useful, as MYOS said.

AP Psych. seems to be pretty fun.
