Junioritis, Class of 2012

SO MUCH HOMEWORK :(

Bye guys (well girls:))

same here ! US History test tomorrow girlies ! :D

oh and this is the first time i’ve ever stayed up so late when i have school the next day  glitter dance

I think that’s just a rationalization technique for people, to blame it on something.

@indigo: Actually I’m not a huge math fan, only because calc. was not super easy for me lol. I like analytical math such as stats, so that’s why business sounds wonderful. Not going into engineering due to calc o_o Physics B is really simple math I heard, whereas Physics C (which I’m not taking) is more calc based so I think I should be alright.

UCLA = 4.0? didn’t know that! in my mind, it’s still not as great of a school as it is. I don’t know why! My stats seem to match pretty well so that might be higher up on my list.

Haha CPU thanks for increasing our chances by a minuscule % :P

Haha aww thanks CPU. But I agree with ada, apply with us!
But adios. And Ada, good luck on your history test!

And LOL indigo! I sleep way too much. And my mom just yelled at me about the homework I have to do… and it’s spring break. Let me sleep -____- lol.

USC is amazing  Almost all of our seniors decided to apply this year -___- Previous year? 1 person.

good luck doing hw/studying girls!

I have busy work for the rest of the night. sweeeeeet.

You are all welcome haha.

Anyways, just wanna say, I love you ladies (in a non creeper way.)

Y’all are like my personal escape from stress.

Ghuskies, same here. Sigh.
It never ends. 5 IB classes next year, yay. :frowning:

But CPU I definitely agree with everything you just said :)

I think we scared off the guys, lol.

@guskies: my school subscribes to naviance, and that’s what their profile says. they’re suuuppper selective, and the student relationship with the grading curve is love-hate. i don’t think i would be happy in such an uber competitive environment. /:
@marine: hear, hear.
@CPU: hear, hear.

@everyone: good luck and good night. you guys make me want to study. this is weird.

Good night. :)

I’m trying to get away from my laptop because I know I have work to do, but… I can’t… lol.

I love you all too…seriously. Hahaha it’s good to have this kind of support group.

WE CAN DO THIS!!

Hehe sorry to all of the boys who are scared off…we completely buried the topic of soccer a few posts back :P

Hmm I think I will turn my computer off and do my hw like a good kid and go to bed early. I’ve been inspired…but of course I will be back on again on my phone. Shhh.

@CPU i completely agree ! anyway, until tomorrow ladies! … or later on today i guess. happy friday to everyone … and Rebecca Black !

Hey indigo,

Dodge College does look amazing and it is always a dream to live and study in California - for me anyway, London gets extremely boring and depressing. I just really hope I get in because British Unverisities aren’t that appealing and they really “knock” creative students.

Good luck!

I’m sure it was ada’s glitter dance. (;
Adios.

EDIT: i spoke too soon. o__O

hey, warehouse. (i feel weird calling you a warehouse. V__V)

i’ve always wanted to go to london. I heard from a penpal of mine that university enrollement has gone down in Britain. plus, i hate how you’re really confined to one field of study.

Plus i was checking out non-US film programs today, and i hate/love to say it, but American film schools are still the best. If you’re really interested in film in CA, there are a lot of options besides Chapman. You should check out UCLA or USC or Columbia College Hollywood or maybe even LMU if you haven’t already!

If you don’t mind NYC, there’s NYU. If you’re dead-set on Cali, though, Chapman is a great place. I heard it’s a really great environment, especially the film professors.

Plus you own all your film, whereas @ USC they own the physical film so you need their permission to do stuff with it after its made (not the script, though. and not on apps…just for classes.)

really hope that helps. ^ you might also want to check out some summer programs. I applied to NYU’s film program, but the deadline has already passed…Chapman has that HS summer fillm program and it’s more affordable anyways -> $3,000.

Okay I promise, I’m done for today. Will talk more tomorrow. I always seem to have all these monster posts. XD

Hahaha ghuskies, we both will be back on our phones. :p

And good luck, Warehouse!

I want to visit London!!! D: My dad has told me that before I go to college we’ll take a Europe trip…but I don’t know if I can handle that with my parents. Stress during vacations, anyone? Or am I the only one? .____.

@marine: oh yeah. hahaha. I’m definitely still on the computer WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME

Is everyone else on their phone? Haha, I just woke up to prepare for Sixth Form at 4 in the morning. Well, I start at 9 but the journey to my Sixth Form can take up to 2 hours so I start making breakfast around 5:10.

I have a question, when does Common Application open up their doors for 2012 applicant’s? Over here UCAS opens up in September.

EDIT: That’s about right indigo, UK uni’s does not cut it when it comes to the creative field. Creativity is also mocked, I was listening to the radio not long ago and the presenter said " These so called creative students don’t do anything but smoke weed and expect to gain a degree. Even though all their degrees are mickey-mouse rubbish. They don’t even contribute to society. Everything creative should be banned."

I remember perfectly because I phoned up and BBQ him for saying that over public radio. I don’t mind people having their own opinion but his whole show was just based on talking BS about creative and media subjects.

Also, that’s why I want to go to Chapman. They give you freedom to film and produce pretty much anything.

Ugh. I lied. I need to speak.

Last year’s came out August 1st instead of July 1st, like it “usually” does. So you can count on something around that time period. Also, I hope you read my filmschool post. I really don’t want to have to keep calling you a warehouse. Goodluck, WAH.

Yeah. Plus Chapman is putting a lot into their film facilities…they’ve purchased land and have been planning to build a backlot and a “filmmaker’s village.” it’s really exciting. they’ve been planning it for about 10 years now though, so, that’s less exciting. if we went there and it happened to be completed, though, that would be amazing.

Last question: What’s for breakfast?

Yeah, hopefully by time we get to Chapman the village will be completed. Hopefully…

For breakfast I normally feast because I know I am not going to buy lunch or anything at Sixth Form.

Frosties
Orange Juice
English Breakfast (egg, bacon, etc)

I should be watching my diet as well - haha. Oh well, I’ll just blame the weather. Where do you live in America?

Wow…that’s a lot of food. I usually never manage to have anything more than a granola bar since I wake up a little later and have to rush to school. >__>

You’re not going to become obese from cereal and orange juice and bacon…lol.

I live in Midwestern US. XD I’m excited to get out of here.

Blame it on the weather? But the weather is gorgeous. (Over here, that is. :stuck_out_tongue: )
