I got one from the University of Texas at Dallas yesterday and some postcard today about the New College of Florida.

Not trying to be mean but I have been getting college mail since I was in the 8th grade…

Lol I’ve been getting it since sophomore year.
Vandy won’t stop sending me **** though… it’s a good thing I actually like them, or else i’d be ****ed.

I get college mail weekly. I’ve gotten mail from so many different colleges, including:
Dartmouth
Brown
Vandy
NYU
Hamilton ![]()
Bates
Bards
Cornell
and many, many more.

^No way! Vandy has sent me like 4 postcards in the last 2 weeks. It’s pretty annoying.

I got a(nother) post card in the mail from Vandy today
which had Asian drummers on it. it definitely caught my attention lol
not to mention the 2 PAVE brochures they sent me, the 2 letters they sent begging me to apply to PAVE in the first place, the 3 thank you letters I got from when I visited on spring break, and… yea I’m sure I’m forgetting something lol.

Cornell
Oxford
Princeton
University of Miami
Dartmouth
Brown
UPenn
Columbia
Caltech
MIT
Vandy
VCU
UVA
Virginia Tech
William and Mary
NYU
And add in like 30 other schools.

I’m a senior now, but I started getting college mail sophomore year. I think it all depends on when you first take the PSAT. But once it starts, it will never stop.

I started receiving college marketing material early this month. At first it was kind of nice (I felt special :D), but then I got tired of the spam.

WUSTL
Emory
NYU
TCU
Duke
Princeton
Northwestern

…but no Vandy, yet ;)

i am a freshman, and I just received a letter from Drexel… I kinda expected more though…

I have a large stack of college mail sitting in my closet that I’ve been collecting since last year.

I never got college mail my junior year since I never opted into College Board’s college search stuff and my PSAT was not high enough. Now (senior year) Kenyon is obsessively mailing me.

!!! Great idea!! I so should start doing that!! :D

I’m a senior and I have a huuuuuge stack on top of my bookcase. I should move it to the floor because if it falls over my room will be covered in a ton of papers, pamphlets, envelopes, postcards, viewbooks, etc.

I don’t get any college mail unless I requested it from a specific college (i.e. MIT :D) due to not checking those boxes on PSAT and SAT.

I do have some promo materials from visiting Pomona, Harvey Mudd, Caltech, UCLA, and UCSD this summer, though.

I have soooooooooo much college stuff its crazy! But to “ANSWER YOUR QUESTION”, yes, I have. :)

junior btw

I have a box of college mail.

I’ll probably still be recieving it next year, as for some reason, there are a few schools that think I’m only a junior this year.

Some school send me two copies of everything. They have me in as a S Rodman and a S Rodham. (Not my actual name… but you get the idea)

Unfortunately for them, I’ve already chosen my college.

Vandy isn’t too bad, but Columbia College is downright ANNOYING.

I started getting it probably freshman year… You do okay on the PSAT’s, you’ll get some junior year… you do well… you’ll get it earlier.

i don’t think college mail is anything really but just (false) advertising; fact of the matter is that getting mail from harvard typically does not mean that harvard wants you, at least no more than the other person who got a 2200 and is receiving the same mail (colleges like buy names from collegeboard).

i didn’t get a single message from cornell, and guess what, it didn’t matter. my parents though were bothered by that fact. and i got so many messages from washu.

best to not think much of college letters
